I liked the location, it's very close to Akihabara and within walking distance to the imperial palace
I liked the clean, new rooms, comfortable beds and facilities in the rooms. This was all excellent, as was the daily cleaning service, included in the price. I thought the breakfast was good value for money but was let down as the hot food was cold, apparently a common complaint. The unlimited coffee was good though, and is pricey elsewhere...There is a 24/7 shop downstairs and reception is 24 hours. It really feels like a 4.5 star hotel with a couple of convention rooms on the first floor and flash leather couches in reception area. It comes with the stuff you would expect for that, including inroom safe, flatscreen TV, and all the razors and toothbrushes you can get through...I'll definitely stay here again. Wake up call and taxi advance booking was handy! A bit formal for the youth market looking for fun but fantastic value for a secure, modern and comfortable hotel.NB. I think there will be construction across the road for the next year or so, but it did not seem too noisy.

Great location. Lots of local shops around instead of big shopping mall. Easy access by train or bus. Bathroom facilities are awesome! Toilet/shower/sink are separated, convenience for backpackers.
Dispite being so cheap the rooms were amazing with air conditioner and extremely comfy beds!

Excellent Hotel, probably the best value for money inTokyo, especially the single rooms.
There is a communal kitchen with fridge, freezer, hob, microwave and washing machine, also a communal pc. The place is very clean and they even have a japanese bath. Each room has tv(although japanese only) and temperature control. The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful!

Extremely clean!! - my room was super quiet too! (4th floor) and wasn't too small compared to other hostels. 24 hour desk service, which is great, and free internet!! Exactly what a hostel should be like :)

I had a great stay at Anne Hostel, the staff were friendly and helpful and the common area was a very sociable place to meet other travellers. I stayed in a 10 bed female dorm and it was clean and reasonably spacious. Each bed had a curtain to draw across so you felt like you had some privacy. The bathrooms were clean and facilities were good generally. Free breakfast was a real bonus.
I stayed here for 10 nights in early March and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The free breakfast is simple but exactly what is needed to prepare you for a long day of sightseeing. What makes this place is the atmosphere(or at least when I was here, the breakfast brings everyone together and it was fantastic to meet so many like minded travellers) and even more so, the staff. They are a credit to this place and really couldn't do enough to help everyone; and their English is fantastic, which is perfect for an uneducated westerner like myself! Also, the lack of space in the rooms, every bed has a shelf which was plenty big enough for my massive bag, what more do you need? You're in one of the most amazing cities in the world, you should be spending as little time in your room as possible so why would you need so much space! Finally, the location, Tokyo is a huge city and you're always going to be far from something. Yes it's not particularly close to Shinjuku or Shibuya but is very close to Asakusa, Akihabara and Oshiage(the Skytree tower). In a country with as good a rail network as Japan I wouldn't really let the location bother you too much, you're still really near the centre, if Tokyo has a centre! And it sits on both a subway and a JR line with direct trains to Shinjuku etc. Anyway, I really couldn't recommend this place more!

The location is really nice, very near to the train station. The hostel was the most cramped in Japan but it is Tokyo so this is to be expected.
Great hostel, more like a hotel. Staff were friendly and knew a fair bit. (Most of them) The breakfast, while simple, was cheap and a good way to start the day. Cosy little rooms with even 'cosier' bathrooms.

Everything! Very clean and great location. Check out the Lawson supermarket, two minutes away where most things are 105 yen (70pence)

This hostel has a great common room and has a lot of amenities and services to offer, but they all require an extre fee or a deposit. 1 dollar for 5 minutes in the shower, and there is a midnight curfew but you can take out an after-hours key for a deposit. Our room was nice.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, eg they gave us a crash course in navigating the various subway and train services across Tokyo (a myriad of different providers and not always operating the same way. Also maps are often showing either subway or train lines, which can lead to unnecessary detours if unaware)
