Liked: its really clean, good price, only problem is that the hotel closes at 1"00AM... so if you're late , you cannot get it anymore... if you not intend to be late, it's very good for the price...

Liked: The rooms are clean, free internet and you can walk to Asakusa easily. Not bad at all by Tokyo standards...

Liked: Traditional Japanese baths! Fantastic. Incredibly friendly and polite staff, everything was above and beyond what you'd expect for such a cheap room. Also a great atmosphere for meeting other backpackers. Best place I've stayed in a long time.

Liked: I loved the cute and tidy rooms with tatami mats, the fridge in our room (!!!), the shop right next door, and the friendly staff.

Liked: Excellent value for money especially in Tokyo.You can use your JR Rail Pass to get to hostel and into Tokyo.Very clean and quiet with free tea, own room, fridge and TV.Free internet.

Liked: From July 12th - July 18th my girlfriend and I are travelling with our Japan Rail Pass through some Japanese cities and we were able to leave our luggage (one REALLY heavy backpack + two trolleys) at Juyoh Hotel without any charge at all. Really nice of them :-) And when we the first time arrived at the hostel, which by the way were around 1:15am, the young man at the reception offered to stay for another 30 minutes so we could go out and get something to eat; and they normally close the reception between 1:00am and 5:00am - it was really kind of the poor, tired receptionist to do so.. PS: we had already brought some food from McDonald`s so he was "set free" ;-) Oh yeah, even though HOW MUCH we bother the staff with questions about directions and train schedules and this and that, they ALWAYS take their time to help us find the answer with a smile. This sounds quite like a cliche but it`s in this case a fact..

Liked: Location was suburban neighbourhood, but close enough to walk to JR Station or bus stops right in front of hostel. Quiet and soundproof, clean, tidy, internet access avail (5 machines). They did not always have english speakers on duty, but did try to help with directions and refer to english person on duty. We felt safe and secure in the building and in the area for walking at night or early mornings. Our next experience in Narita was not good, so Juyoh was 120% better by comparison.

Liked: The hostel was very clean, the staff was great, and it is a great value for a good price. There is even a Japanese-style bath on the top floor. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The only bad thing was the location- it is kind of out of the way from any major attractions in Tokyo, and I found the directions to get there a little confusing. Overall, though, a nice place to stay.
