Liked: Tokyo Hostel was a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the common room was a great place to meet people and chill out. The rooms are small but adequate and the location is convenient to the metro.

Liked: FANTASTIC staff! Ai wrote down a whole bunch of phrases for us in Japanese so that we could order vegetarian food. The rooms are very clean and pretty big for Japan. They have bikes for rent which is really nice for the grocery runs.The station it is near is not in the down town area but in nice area with plenty of food and bars and its quiet.

Liked: Very good facilities, the rooms are very nice and offer some kind of privacy. Lockers in rooms provided. Bathroom is clean and nice. Free internet is amazing. A nice outside area is amazing in the summer. Staff was a bit unfriendly and didn't show us the way round.

Liked: Very helpful staff and free internet are great. It is a bit difficult to find the first time you exit the subway. Make sure you cross over the road on the elevated pedestrian bridge (because you will probably be coming from Ueno). Enjoy

Liked: Loved th hostel! It was very clean! I met some great people just at the computers and in my room. The staff were extremely helpful in telling you what places to check out. The location is okay. It is Ueno which is kind of far from the "center" of Tokyo or like Shinjuku, Roppongi (the clubbing, bar areas of Tokyo) but all is accessible from the metro easily! It is close to Asakasa and Akhibara which are places to def. check out. Def. recommend this hostel for anybody!!!! Great price toooo!!!
