Liked: Good cosy bed, ideal for lone traveller to make friends as the atmosphere is perfect for that! Was too tired and missed out the new year eve celebration at the bar downstairs! Passed out right around 11ish..LOL A busy yet relatively quiet place for a good recharge

Disliked: Need to access via Local subway line, not so ideal as for JR Pass user its preferable to be around JR station. No Harm done anyway, also the bathroom is slightly smelly.

Liked: Great atmosphere, close to the subway, nice staff. All in all good.

Disliked: the smell from the toilet on 3rd floor. Horrible and right next to the computers.

Liked: The staff is great, helpful and swift. Location is nearby the old Asakusa district, beautiful places to visit.

Disliked: The showers have BLACK MOLD, which happens to be very hazardous to humans, the cleaning shoul be carried out by Japanese staff, there's a US guy doing a very poor job at it, trying to pay for his stay maybe?. The Wifi is poor, slow and weak. (A big issue in Tokio as NO ONE has free wifi on any venues!, Starbucks has it prohibited from public access, No paid service whatsoever) The shoe rack permanently stinks, it makes you gag.

Liked: Stay in the other building because it is newer and super nice! Close to the subway station and near the temple/shrine. The place was heated in the rooms and there were hot showers. Great for the winter in Japan. They have a good kitchen but food is expensive.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: NOTHING

Disliked: There was a insect in my bed and hotel' s boss was very angry he wasn't kindly and frendly. We didn't like these and this hotel. These rent was very much this hotel.

Liked: staff were ok

Disliked: The rooms were extremely cramped. Our room could fit our bunk bed and about 40cm of space. The walls were fake plaster walls which they just put up to divide up a room into smaller ones, and there was a large gap against the window pane, which meant you could hear everything that anyone else. The lights in the toilet were either really dim or did not work. It was really run down. We were quite surprised as everywhere else we stayed in Japan seemed to be much better.

Liked: Reasonable price for tokyo. The bar is a good area to meet some local japanese people.

Disliked: got bitten by bed bugs! Def in the bed as we found one and squashed it.

Liked: The location is good and is easy to find, the place is clean, friendly staff and you can be sure that your things are safe in there because there is a 24-hour monitoring camera.

Liked: The hostel had a variety of interesting people. It was a great place to be for a cultural exchange!

Disliked: I encountered cockroaches in the room!

Liked: It's basic, really basic, rooms are small but it's perfect for Tokyo for the price it is.

Disliked: No help from staff on tourist based activities/questions

Liked: The Bar is a good place to meet people.

Disliked: The Hostel isn't clean. The shower door was broken, our window was broken and the beds do annoying sounds every bit you move.
