Liked: Free breakfast is always a bonus when travelling on a budget and friendly staff that always helped with any questions you had.

Disliked: It was a bit hard to find, but if I had printed off the map that was on the website that would have helped me!

Liked: This hostel was excellent in terms of information and facilities. Lockers available and huge emphasis on locking doors etc. Wi Fi available and a small communal area where free breakfast is given. Fairly good location near Asakusa and Akihabara, which are good tourist spots. Fairly close to metro station. The staff were very helpful.

Disliked: All good points aside. I look for fun hostels with a lot of atmosphere and character, which I didn't find here. It I very quiet and there are quite a few rules posted on the wall. This is with good reason as the hostel is next to a hospital. It's fine if you're looking for a quiet place to put your head down, but that's all I found here.

Liked: The free breakfast is really good, the common room is Japanese style which is really cool and makes it easier to talk to people. Staff are really friendly and speak really good english. The free maps are good and there plenty more information on a bookshelf to help you visit the most interesting places.

Disliked: The big dorms can be a bit annoying when you come in cannot see where you are going; there is someone asleep so you feel you cannot turn the big light on. There are not any personal bed lights just big room ones.

Liked: Location.

Disliked: It's a little difficult to find at first. The room is too small for 4 people. I had to keep my luggage on my bed overnight as there was not enough space to keep my backpack(small) on the floor. The other guests had monopolised the entire room. There is only one electrical outlet in the room, which means that only one guest can recharge his/her cellphone.

Liked: Clean and not expensive, breakfast and FreeWIFI are good.

Disliked: Bit smaller than I thought, small locker outside and you have to bring your own padlock.

Liked: There was a really nice lounge area which was good for meeting other people.

Disliked: Only suggestion for improvement would be to have individual lights for each bed instead of just the main light for the room.

Liked: We got upgraded to the 3 people room, which was verry nice. The room itself was pretty nice as well. Was a classic japanese style room with the floor mats and everything. Common room was small, but because of that you met other people really easily. Staff spoke really good english, and talked with a lot of the guests. I guess the free breakfast was nice as well, but i missed out on it all the nights because i didn't wake up before 10 AM anny of the days ;)

Disliked: I didn't really care, but the vending machine was out of order. And if i am to believe other reviews on hostelbookers, it has been out of order for quite some time.

Liked: Good breakfast, but they should give jam with their Toast, bread and butter is a little bit lame. New linning when you get the room. Free Internet.

Disliked: Smell Bad in the dorm. No Jam at breakfast. Too small if full of people. You have to pay for a towel.

Liked: Cheap rooms. Good bookcase with lots of books and information on Tokyo.

Disliked: no powerpoints in room. Basic breakfast.

Liked: I like the central position (few minutes of JR train for Ueno and Tokyo stations) abd the kindness of all the people, staff as well as others travellers!

Disliked: The level of AC... the first night I was almost freezing in my dorm...

Liked: Very clean and well-maintained property. A/C is very helpful during hot summers. Decent breakfast (toast, eggs, and tea/coffee). Kenji and his staff are extremely nice and helpful.

Disliked: The springs on the mattresses are not good. Perhaps they should the mattresses with sponge mattresses.

Liked: Clean, helpful staff, nice common room, free breakfast helps save money in a very expensive country, very close to good restaurants, 7eleven, metro and JR station.

Disliked: Not a lot to dislike. After spending two nights here and going to experience the capsule hotel for one night, my partner and I were more than happy to spend our remaining two nights in Tokyo here!

Liked: On walking distance from Akihabara and next to a river boulevard this is a good place to stay after a busy day of exploring Tokyo.

Disliked: Lack of other guests: it's more than safe in Japan so come over do your bit by supporting their economy ;)
