Helen StumpWhen the renovations take place, it will be better. The rooms are really dated and smelt like bleach. My friend had bed bugs in his bed. Not cool! However, it was an excellent location for the price and having free wi fi and a free computer upstairs was a big plus. The sound system is a great novelty too. |

Customer reviewI liked the areas and the easy acces to Metro. Free Internet. Massage chair and jacuzi in the room, eventhough a bit old. Friendly staff -didnot sppeak much English though, freee soft drinks in the lobby |

Customer reviewliked the location and service. but renovation was going on in the hotel and noise levels during the mornings are pretty high. the rooms are also quite musty and smell of cigarette smoke even though we requested for a non-smoking room. the bathrooms are big but rundown.. the rooms are old as well. |

Customer reviewHotel is in a fun location and the neighborhood is quiet at night, so best of both worlds. All the hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. The decor was 80's style, but kept up nicely, they were also doing renovations, so it may have a fresher appearance for future guests. My bed was very comfortable, I had a massage chair & huge bathroom with jacuzzi hot tub. My room was cleaned every day, they had free wifi & 2 computers available for guests. Really a great room for the price. |

Customer reviewWhen we went, they were redoing some rooms for Japanese Style bedrooms so we were told to use the stairs at certain times. This wasn't so, although we did have one day where it took us 15 mins to get out! Lift was being used for wood etc to the 1st floor. We tried using the stairs but were told we couldn't. So we waited several times for the lift to actually be free.. didn't happen. In the end, they let us down the stairs. Internet was free and it was pretty good. Room was definitely too tight to accommodate a double and an extra bed. Although the bathroom was pretty big, with spa function. Room had massive TV in there.. maybe a lil too big! Shinjuku station is only about 10 mins walk away or there's the subway about a min or 2 away. All in all, pretty decent besides the contruction work and would stay again - hopefully without any works. |
