Penelope PhillipsI LOVED the cabin beds! It was so much fun staying in them, it was like a little cubby house that you'd have as a kid! They have bathroom facilities that are imaculate. The staff are so helpful and speak great english and have information on pretty much anything that there is to do in the area. It's a great place to stay in and would be the first place in Tokyo that i would recommend to anyone! They also have great little cartoons of ninja octopus' on the walls up the stairs! Great place! |

Customer reviewgreat hostel, met some great people, close to underground, easy to get to from airport. overall good value for money. only small downside of the capsule beds being a bit hot and stuffy during summer months. still recommended though |

Customer reviewI stayed in the double private room. It had a bunk bed, night stand and a small area to keep backpack/suitcase. Everything in the room was clean and it included an airconditioner that you can adjust according to your needs. The bathrooms were down the hall. They were ALWAYS clean. The reception desk people were very friendly and helpful. They always had maps and events ready to give tourists. The neighbourhood was great for exploring Asakusa and Ueno easily.. about a 15 - 30 minute walk depending on how leisurely you want to be. The metro gets you there in minutes. There are a lot of budget places to eat or take your food back to the hostel. There is a common area with tv's and a full kitchen. The staff provides toast and jam for breakfast, which is helpful in getting the day started. |

Customer reviewThere is free internet and the room I stayed in was like capsels, which were very private. Only problem with room was that there was no place for luggage so you had to sleep with it or leave it out in the open. Also the plance was pretty dirty and the kitchen/social area in the basement smelt like a wet basement, which I didnt want to eat or hang out in. The staff was pretty awesome though and spend a lot of time assisting me in making phone calls and getting information. |

Customer reviewThe kitchen was pretty filthy and seemed to have some flies nest as there were dead flies everywhere (even on the clean crockery)! There is no natural light in the hostel and our room kind of resembled a prison cell!- i.e it was tiny, no natural light, and wasn't somewhere you wanted to spend time in apart from stumble into after a night out and sleep in. I think because of the good location (it's 2 stops away from Tokyo main station) it means you get less for your money. Having said that, the staff were very helpfull and friendly. I've stayed in better hostels in Tokyo. |
