Stephan CaffaRyokan Toukaisou is a perfect hostel if you are planning to stay in Tokyo. The location is wonderfull, supermarket is very close and so are some nice restaurants and stores. A couple of stations are also very nearby for easy access to other places. Staff is very helpfull and give great information and direction if needed. Had a great time and would stay there again. |

DAVID YAMADAThis hostel was easy to find and is near the subway. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and there is air conditioning. As long as I have future bookings before I leave here, they are willing to keep my large luggage while I make short trips around Japan. It is convenient to the airport which can be accessed through Uedo station two subway stops away. |

Customer reviewThe staff were lovely and really helpful. This hostel is very family oriented, which makes a nice quiet place to come back to at the end of a long day walking around the city. The communal area is a nice relaxing place to meet other travelers and share information - a great place to rejuvenate for the next day. |

Megan SmithTucked in a quiet alley in Asakusa, which was a plus for me, I enjoyed being out of the loud bustle yet still be in Tokyo with nearby access to everything. Facilities are clean and very safe. Free internet is a plus. My roommates were loud and inconsiderate which was a bummer, but not the hostel's fault in any way. |

Customer reviewIt was located in a nice part of town, although quiet this added to the character of the place in that you in that it wasn't all party party party. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would certainly give this place a thumbs up for all those travelling on a budget but not wanting to give the comforts of home |

John HughesVery friendly staff. They were great when we were travelling round Japan since we were able to leave our main bags there which was a great help. A cosy place and the common room was good to meet other travellers. There was a genuine Japanese feel to the hostel. No breakfast but a kitchen was available and there was a Denny's just up the road. I'd definitely go back and would recommend it. |

Robert KangStaff are friendly, speak english and glad to help. Theres a common room where you can meet others like i did and go out one night. Place is clean with showers and big beds. The general gist with Tokyo Hostels is that they are a bit far from Roppongi, Shinjuku and other main big night areas so location wasnt the best but still a top joint. Suggest booking a hotel if wanting to go out one night downtown, or pull an allnighter as trains close after 12/1ish in the morning and dont start till 5/6ish. |

Customer reviewThe staff was nice and extremely heplful to make our stay as easy as possible, they also pointed out the important facilities, good restaurants and tourist attractions around the hostel. The interior of the hostel was pretty with the tatami mats, beautiful wallpaper and cute little statues in the common room. |

Customer reviewVery clean and comfortable accomodation with a variety of room options for differing prices. Staying in the dorms was cheaper and had slightly less privacy but was still comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and facilities were excellent. Very close to the train station although the train ride to Shibuya/Shinjuku took about half an hour (although it was on the right train line so no confusing switches were required). Overall an excellent stay and a very good experience. |
