Liked: traditional japanese style with the most friendly staff and an interesting puzzle to work out how to use the kettle for your morning coffee. Great location.

Liked: A bit far from main tokyo station but Asakusa is good area to hang around. Dorms and kitchen are quite small, but showers and toilets are super clean.

Liked: This hostel was great! It was incredibly clean, had a good atmosphere, and was located in a great neighborhood. I can't believe how nice it was, especially considering how affordable it is. The staff was very helpful in answering all questions and provided very clear directions on how to reach the hostel. I especially liked the tatami common room. There were two computers with internet, as well as ethernet cables to use on your own computer. The sheets on the beds were very clean and each bed has a downe comforter. The bathroom was way nicer than my one at home. Asakusa is a nice neighborhood and the staff provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, entertainment, etc in the area. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing is that hostel bookers does not actually pay them your deposit...the 10% seems to work more like a booking fee. But, considering the price of the rooms, it's not that much of a fee really anyway. Have fun in Tokyo!
