Liked: Had a great time. Didn't spend a lot of time in the hostel, but the time I spent there was very quiet and great for getting some rest. All the people I met were very friendly, and the staff is always around and extremely friendly. Only a couple of blocks from some of the main attractions in Asakusa, and a skip, hop and jump from the nearest Ginza line stop. If i make it back to Asakusa, would definately stay again.

Liked: Excellent place to stay in a quiet, traditional area of Tokyo. Hostel staff were super helpfull with respect to things to do/see in the area, along with places to eat and drink.Well recommended if your not looking for a big social scene at the hostel.I would definitely go back

Liked: It was clean and had laundrymachines. The rooms were very small though and the sound isolation bad (although it didn t really matter since it was very quiet at night).

Liked: A lot. It is the only hostel in Tokyo, which I visited 2 times during my 3 week stay here. If you like a cozy hostel with an awsome common room and a lot of stuff to do in the neighbourhood, this is your place.

Liked: Staff are wonderful, very helpful. Place is very clean, hot shower and cosy lounge area. Close to shops, restaurants and metro.Very good value for money and we will stay again in future.

Liked: Immaculate and well-appointed. Close to multiple subway lines and plenty of low-key eateries and temples in Asakusa. Liked having a kitchen on hand to prepare cheap meals (or to munch on prepared foods from the supermarket down the street). Great common area for meeting people/drinking Asahi. Nice down blankets, to boot.

Liked: it was very clean, warm and cosy. Felt more like a guesthouse then a hostel. Kitchen (fridge and microwave only) facilities and free internet were useful. Close to train station, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Because its so small its not the greatest place to meet other travelers if you are by yourself, but if you want a break from hostel environments this is a great place to stay. Lovely staff, helpful books and information around. only negative was that the beds were a bit hard.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff, one lady had excellent english which is a blessing in Japan!!We liked the communal area with the dorms coming off from that...very clean and great value for money.i would defiantely reccomend this hostel to anyone going to Tokyo!!

Liked: It was fairly quiet while I was here. The hostel is immaculate, this is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at quite a few. I didn't meet too many people but then again I was only here for 3 nights. I recommend it tho because of its cleanliness and close proximity to the subway. Good luck on your journey and I wish you a safe trip.

Liked: I liked the Japanese style interior. it was almost an apartment style accommodation, many people sharing a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Internet, hot water keeper, some dishes were provided! A really nice area to hang out. To go to sleep early might be difficult, if people are chatting happily in the living room, but it is kindly requested to keep it down after 11pm. Overall a nice experience.

Liked: Good clean place to stayOnly about 5 minutes walk from Tawaramachi Metro station. I didn't have any problems getting to other parts of Tokyo from this Hostel. If you are planning to be going out every night to Roppongi / Shibuya, you will want to locate further to the south west, since it will take around 45 mintues to get across town (Metro is like clockwork but it's a lot of stops so takes a while across town)The hostel is very clean. From what I noticed, at least two people spend over 3 hours cleaning the place each day. Also - importantly, two clean showers for both the male and female bathroom areas.The Asakusa area itself is very interesting, particularly the streets around the famous temple closeby. You will find lots of very good quality locally run restaurants selling everything from fresh suhi to tempura and authentic Wagayu beef. Even the cheap (non - chain) Japanese cafes cook up some mean grub - worth checking out in this area.
