Liked: Very friendly staff all with good English, excellent value for money.

Disliked: To get a place as good value for money as this, it is a little way out from the main travel routes e.g. before I could go to any of the main Tokyo areas I mostly had to transfer at Ueno station.

Liked: Very clean! The staff is friendly and knowledgable, it's a cozy space.

Disliked: The common room is situated in the middle of the second floor rooms which disturns people when they are trying to sleep and means that guests are forced to wrap up their meeting time early in the evening.

Liked: It was in a nice area, lots of restaurants, easy subway line and clean. Staff had a good knowledge of attractions and geography of the city.

Liked: Good place to stay!!! Clean, friendly, nice!! Close to metro station and just a few minutes walk away from the Sensoji-Tempel. Would recomend this hostel to everybody who wanna discover tokio.

Disliked: room smelled a bit damp, rooms are beside common room where people stayed up late, so difficult to get to sleep.

Liked: This was the second time I stayed at Toukaisou and it was once again excellent. Really clean and friendly people. Also perfectly located within the Asakusa area and a cheap bike rental place just outside the door.

Disliked: For people who like to cook their own food, the hostel only offers a limited set of cooking supplies such as spices, oil and soy sauce.

Liked: Asakusa Ryokan Toukaisou was the first hostel I stayed in when I arrived in Japan. The staff were really friendly and made me feel at home. The place is very cozy and insanely clean! I think if I would try my hardest to clean my own house it would still not match the level of this hostel. I had a very nice stay here. The location is also great.

Liked: I Loved the atmosphere and the cleanliness, location is very good to reach most interesting places in the city, but is quite far from the popular night life, you just need to plan ahead.

Liked: Super friendly staff, a nice atmosphere, the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in - it truely is immaculate, a large supermarket across the road and located close to one of Tokyo's best shrines - this is a great value for money hostel.
