Liked: Excellent value for money. It's away from the hustle of central Tokyo in a quiet area, but is within easy reach of everything Tokyo has to offer.

Liked: The japanese style room was really small but what matters is that it was my own private space. The room had television, A/C, futon (japanese matress) and miniature table. I did not like the concept of coin operated showers. For the amount they are charging it should be free.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice communal lounge with free internet. Slightly out of town but easy access to Ueno station and the Yamanote line. Free tea and coffee and sweets as well! Kitchen and laundry facilities also excellent.

Liked: Free internet and coffee was cool, you do have to pay for the showers(100 yen) but they are very good.

Liked: 9/10 for this hostel, very friendly and approachable staff, would certain recommend to anyone.VERY CLEAN, very new, and was able to meet interesting ppl.truely like East meeting West.yet, a fair walk from the JR station, but it's definitely value for money

Liked: Clean, nice facilities for a hostel, owner and staff very helpful and friendly. Far from many main areas in Tokyo, but then again so are all hostels and it is not difficult to use the metro.Would definitely recommend the hostel and would stay there again.

Liked: Can`t say enough good things about Kenji and his team here. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly. I lost my wallet on my arrival in japan and Kenji helped me to get it back by phoning the train station (where I left it, doh!) and translating for me over the phone when i went to collect it. The place is so clean and new and well looked after. Top marks! Oh! and i nearly forgot to mention the heated toilet seats!
