Liked: The hostel was very close to two subway stops. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The common room/reception area was a good place to meet people.

Disliked: The kitchen was a bit small but did the job.

Liked: Basically everything! But highlights - free Sake, Umeshu and snacks after 6pm every day in January; cool open plan social / reception / kitchen area made it quite good for meeting people and socialising; and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. It's also a great location, less than a minute from the train, good for getting to anywhere in Tokyo and also the airport.

Disliked: Nothing that you wouldn't find in any other hostel (occasional dodgy dorm mates etc). I found it kind of strange having younger children / teenagers around one or two nights, but it just adds to the character and family feel of the place.

Liked: Location was good - a short stroll from the train and Asakusa; quiet enough to get some decent sleep; great communal space, particularly for a backpackers; really helpful and friendly staff; would not hestitate to stay there again.

Disliked: Could've done with an iron to make clothes stuffed into a backpack for days a little more presentable (that's obviously more of a recommendation than a complaint and is very much clutching at straws!)

Liked: Staff are very friendly, hostel itself is extremely clean and comfortable. Facilities are excellent. If anything, the only problem is that there are too many people there; it can be a bit difficult to meet new people just because there are so many.

Unfrotunately this place was full of very dull Americans and Australians when I was there but not the fault of the hostel.

Liked: Near subway,easy to find, big and cozy lounge area, really fun place to meet people, friendly english speaking staff. Overall impression is really good. Though, a bit far away from the centre.

Liked: Very easy to meet people there. Close to metro and easy to access anywhere in Tokyo. Local area has important shrine and loads and loads of restauants.

Liked: staff friendly and cute, they even remembered me from last year!!This is the best hostel value for the money in Tokyo...very clean and modern- it even has an elevator!! a big bonus when you have heavy bags!! It's a small elevator BUT it works great.So far my favorite hostel in Tokyo...

Liked: Great place! Really friendly staff and good place for meeting people. Room bit cramped but you'll be hanging out in the lounge anyway. Best place I've stayed in Tokyo!
