Abby ShepherdIt was in a great location, right next to the metro line and had lots of helpful leaflets on places to go and how to get there. The staff do tend to waltz in and out quite alot though, and the computers were pretty awful. There was no way to upload photos or tranfser data to memory sticks so our cameras got bunged up and we had to ask other travellers to lend us computers in order to be able to take pictures! |

Customer reviewThe wall are so thin that even in a private room, it sounds like you sleep in a dorm. Very noisy, but cheap.. |

Customer reviewThe Khaosan chain is in my opinion totaly overestimated. Don't get me wrong – it's not a bad place. It's quite professional, but not very welcoming. The are charging for everything, the staff is almost bored, not so helpful as in other hostels. Still not a bda place. |

Customer reviewThey spoke english and had free internet (but it was easier to use not at peak hours of the day). There is also a pay phone inside. |

Samantha Hoytthey had internet, for the most part. and the kitchen was a nice plus because food is not cheap in tokyo. khaosan is pretty much the hostel group to stay with in Japan. but if you go to Tokyo stay at the Annex. It is run by a foreigner and she is a thousand times more helpful and laidback than the staff at smile. |

Customer reviewclean, good location, great place to meet people. however, staff could have been a little more helpful - for example, when i asked at the "reception/tourist info desk" about activities, sights to see, i was simply told - " all the information you need is located on the third floor in leaflets" - and no, this was not because of a language barrier, i would more consider it to be laziness and lack of pride in their work. apart from that, we met wonderful people, hostel was spotless clean, showers always hot and overall we had a great time in Japan. |
