Liked: They spoke english and had free internet (but it was easier to use not at peak hours of the day). There is also a pay phone inside.

Liked: they had internet, for the most part. and the kitchen was a nice plus because food is not cheap in tokyo.khaosan is pretty much the hostel group to stay with in Japan. but if you go to Tokyo stay at the Annex. It is run by a foreigner and she is a thousand times more helpful and laidback than the staff at smile.

Liked: clean, good location, great place to meet people.however, staff could have been a little more helpful - for example, when i asked at the "reception/tourist info desk" about activities, sights to see, i was simply told - " all the information you need is located on the third floor in leaflets" - and no, this was not because of a language barrier, i would more consider it to be laziness and lack of pride in their work. apart from that, we met wonderful people, hostel was spotless clean, showers always hot and overall we had a great time in Japan.

Liked: It's a value for money yes, but i recommend that if you're gonna stay here longer, please take earplugs with you, you may need them. Staff thou is Super nice and very helpful!!
