Liked: It is a very nice place. The people hosted there are nice. The staff is very cool and helpful. The place is not so near of main night life spots, so if you are a nightlife person, I do not adivise you stay here, because you are going to expend a lot of money if tax, otherwise, it is nearby the asakusa station, so you can go easily to anywhere during day time..

Liked: I liked that the rooms always were air-conditioned very well. It was annoying that we had to wait until three in the afternoon to check-in when we arrived in the morning, and when we did arrive at the hostel one of the staff members was extremely rude to us. The other staff members were extremely nice but the one continued to be rude and spoke rudely in Japanese thinking that I wouldn't understand. Also, before you check-in and want to try and use the facilities it will cost 1000 yen to use any of the facilities. This includes showers and computers. So, if you take a night bus and want to take a shower when you arrive at your hostel you can't do it for this one unless you pay 1000 yen first, or you can wait until after you check in at three.

Liked: The hostel was great, the people staying there were good fun and helpful with the local area. Where to go, what to eat etc. The room was fine and the whole place was quiet, which was important. I think the location was good although a little tricky to find, but ask anyone and they will help. Close to two subway stations so easy to get into Tokyo or out depending on what your looking for?

Liked: Nice n inexpensive place to stay. If you stay here, please be courteous to others by not being too noisy after 11pm. Location is 'average' because it's about 10 min walk to the nearest subway - and JR lines do NOT reach Asakusa. But it's only ~170? Yen (1-way) to reach the nearest JRs Asakusabashi or Ueno. I found this reasonable. It's also located close to one of the best 100 Yen stores. If u don't have soaps, u can buy it at the 100Yen store. This hostel is kinda hard to find if you don't have a map. Basically, from the subway station, go to the otherside of the blue bridge. Across the 1st intersection is a map, and that map is upside down from what u'd find on Google maps or the map in the pdf u get sent after booking. But the blue bridge (not the green or red one) is the closest bridge. Then walk to the place indicated on the maps. The hostel is marked by a big lighted red sign hanging about 3 m above ground, and since there's not a lot of signs around there it's easier to find. Computer facilities are reasonable..just watch out 4 the ones that close on u for no good reason!Good Luck.

Liked: Only stayed one night for a stop-over, so can't really comment on the atmosphere. We did stay in capsule beds, and you do get a good sleep, if that's important to you.

Liked: The staff are helpful and always willing to help. The facilities provided such as free internet and pay phone at the reception really help with connectivity with friends in and out of Japan. The Khaosan bar's offer of Yen 1000 for 3 drinks is very reasonable and useful. The cleanliness of the hostel is by far the best so far and the new cabin room ensures privacy and security to backpackers. One of the most excellent hostels I've ever been!

Liked: The Hotel is good, near the Jr station. For the low price a tatami is enough... but you have to pay 100yen for 5 minutes shower. Just one bad thing: the checkout is at 9:00 am.

Liked: I had a brilliant time here, everyone is very friendly, the staff are very friendly and helpful, its in a nice area and it has everything you really need.

Liked: The staff were friendly. I don't know about the dorms or other rooms but I would highly recommend against booking a single room at this location. The room was extremely small, there were no windows and although this is just a hostel stay and not a hotel, I would have expected a bit of decor to spruce up the place.
