Liked: My partner and I have just finished a 7 week trip to Japan, and this hostel was easily one of the best we stayed in! The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The bedrooms/dorms were a little small, but very clean, private, and comfortable. We loved the location too- close to the subway, and a lot quieter than areas like Shinjuku. I would definitely recommend this place!

Liked: Awesome private cabin beds were very cosy! Also stayed in K's hostel which was also good but this 1 had a better cosy-ness factor. lots of computers downstairs were also good

Liked: It is easy to get into the center of Tokyo and near Asakusa temple. Cost near the hostel is not high although it located near Tokyo downtown. It is quite comfortable and quiet hostel. If I need to stay in Tokyo for days, Khaosan Tokyo is definitely first choice of me.

Liked: Great value, one of the cheapest in Tokyo proper with only a few negatives. The place is well thought out and cared for (I would say avoid the creepy "cabin" rooms). The showers are warm and clean, though there are few of them. The rooms are also fine despite having many beds crammed in. The lockers make tons of noise and will disturb your roommates, perhaps the staff will consider this! The community room is great and the wifi here is very fast and works everywhere. The private rooms are in another building and it's a bit sad and shabby so just stay in the dorms.

Liked: Its the good hostel for the budget travelers, the WIFI in all rooms and every where in the premises worked great, it a bit long walk (15mins) from asakusa station but still its OKEY when comparing to the money paid for the stay, there is a supermarket very close by opens 24hrs, it was a bit irritating to remove your shoes every time u eneter in to the hostel premises, over all its the above average hostel with peaceful atmosphere, i would definitly think about staying again if i ever return back to Tokyo

Liked: The hostel is located close to stations and made a good base for exploring central Tokyo. If one can handle sleeping in a dorm room, this is easily the cheapest place to stay, that I came across.

Liked: Does the job. The larger dorms are a bit cramped, the biggest downside being not much space to put our backpacks. Nice touches in the dorms like privacy curtains and humidifiers keep the peace and overall cleanliness. Showers are not located on all floors, but I never found myself waiting. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help with all kinds of questions. The location is decent. It's a bit of a high price for this area, but then again this is Tokyo, and good values are few and far in between.

Liked: As I wrote - you get what you pay for, so don't except much. I recommend it only to travellers on a very tight bugdet. Otherwise try other hostels.

Liked: You get, what you pay for. Don't expect anything more than a stiff mattress and cold water to brush your teeth.There are about 3 bathrooms in total, the whole hostel is rather anonymous with one tiny lounge on the ground floor and extra-tiny kitchen attached to it.

Liked: Location is ok, good access to airport but abit far from most attractions. Cabin beds are a nice concept and definitely worth trying, but the veneration is abit poor.

Liked: I stayed in a cabin capsule style, was good to have a bit a of privacy, I like the concept. Those cabins are a bit suffocating through, very hot at night
