Liked: The rooms were just too small and claustrophobic for me and my girlfriend. We did not notice on the website that the twin room just consisted of a bunk bed although it was listed so our mistake. Living room, kitchen and location are good though. The rooms were just too small so I won't recommend this hostel as I would not stay again.

Liked: The bathrooms are spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is not a lot of common space, so meeting people is difficult. In fact, there's not a lot of space at all; the entire place feels a bit cramped, but so does being in Tokyo period. Rooms with a river view are fantastic, as is the rooftop terrace. It's a couple of minutes walk from the Asakusa Station, in the northeast corner of the city. A bit far from main attractions, but the subway doesn't take more than 20-30 minutes, so it was no big deal. There is a nice temple and street market within walking distance. The neighborhood is great; more traditional than the rest of Tokyo, so it was a nice place to come home to after a day in the bustling city.

Liked: It really was the best hostel I have ever been to! The kitchen and tv-room as well as computer room (internet for free!!!) were really clean and comfortable, it felt like being in a nice house somewhere and not in a hostel!

Liked: Great location; asakusa is a really nice area with plenty to do and see. The subway is just up the road so getting to other areas of tokyo is easy. Lockers are provided in the dorms, there's a good rooftop view and the internet is free! The showers could do with more places to put your stuff when you're showering though =)

Liked: It's location that is near to train station and supermarkets and tourist spots. But I don't like the tight space. My husband and I could barely move in our rooms.

Liked: good location, kindly and helpfull staff, small rooms but OK for Tokyo, another hostel of this khoasan group is samurai, one week later we stayed in samurai, and samurai much better.. m.e.

Liked: The staff were really nice and helpful with excellent English and the free internet was great. BUT the private rooms were tiny (room for the bunkbeds and packs OR walking, not both) and the showers were gross: dripped condensation, no ventilation, no room to dry yourself and had to put your clothes in a rack above the shower head.

Liked: A really good and small place to meet people, with computers with free internett almost always available. Very helpful and friendly staff. The mattress wasn't the best though. All in all a very good hostel to stay at!!
