Liked: All good things. Met cool backpackers, chill place, good amenities, great location, great value for the money. I would recommend this place to anyone. Also, the staff is really nice and helpful.

Disliked: This is a tough one. I guess if I have to come up with something bad it would be the directions to the hostel. They are very good and 100% accurate, but not fool-proof and I guess I am a fool. If you get off-track, you are hosed because the landmarks in the directions are completely unknown to even the locals of Asakusa. I would have used a more obvious reference point such as the Asakusa View Hotel, which is very near (almost right across the street).

Liked: Located in a very nice neighborhood, clean, not too far from the station, surrounded by lots of little Japanese restaurants and izakayas, movies and videogames for rental for free, lockers in the room.

Disliked: The itinerary to get there from the station on the website imperatively needs to be improved.

Liked: very clean, very social

Disliked: a bit off the beaten path (although near a subway line) and a bit of "nickel and dimeing" of services often included

Liked: Good-ish location, although a little far from the subway. Plenty of info provided by the staff and nice room dorms, clean bathrooms, free internet :)

Disliked: Kitchen is a bit small and there was a lingering smell in the common area. They don't provide some basic cooking stuff like other hostels do (e.g. pepper, butter) and the breakfast seemed to be a bit expensive unless your going to eat your own weight in toast.

Liked: It was cheap and conveniently located, and the staff was helpful and nice.

Disliked: I believe the room I slept in had mold or mildew; I'm allergic to it and my allergies acted up really, really badly while I was there. I also got quite a few bug bites during my stay.

Liked: There was a friendly atmosphere and it seemed easy to meet other people there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a communal kitchen, washers/dryers, computers, and a big screen TV!

Disliked: I stayed in a private twin bedroom and there was just two beds. It could of used a nightstand and some shelves to put some stuff on.

Liked: Very very clean, nice neighborhood (though completely shut down at night). I liked the curtains around each bed, and that each bed had its own light.

Liked: Great location in Tokyo and in the Asakusa area. I enjoyed the proximity to the grocery store and old Tokyo. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and was able to accomodate almost any request.

Disliked: My room had bedbugs. However, when I informed the staff, they washed my clothes free of charge and put me in another room.

Liked: Really good value for the money, I checked comments on hostelbookers before choosing and wasn´t dissapointed. Nice staff, nice reception and cooking area, clean baths, good beds! Nothing to complaint. Neighbourhood is located at the end of Ginza line wich connects directly with Shibuya if you want the "high-end" feeling of Tokio or stay in Asakusa and enjoy a more relaxed a "traditional" mood.

Liked: The staff was helpful and nice, and it was great that the hostel had no curfew and the reception was open 24/7. The location near the Senso-ji shrine was great.

Disliked: The bare concrete walls in the dorm rooms were a bit unappealing and it would've been nice if the rooms had shelves or something else where to put one's luggage during the stay, instead of just having to drop everything in a cprner of the room.

Disliked: Coffe wans't free, but refills were =) Their description to get to the place is a bit complicated....

Liked: Stayed a month or so after the earthquake, so it wasnt too busy. But still really like it, staff were really helpful and self catering facilities were a nice change. Would def stay there again.

Disliked: Little far from the metro, but easy access to other places in Tokyo once you get there

Liked: I liked the curatins on the bunks which made them cosy and private. the staff were amazing with great English, maps and huge amounts of information. The hostel was in a great central location. The staff even woke us up super early on our last morning because the were monitoring news after the earthquake and idacovered that the power to the trains was to be cut so they got us up on on our wayso we didn't miss our flights

Disliked: Lockers for bags were too small

Liked: At 1500Yen this place was an absolute bargain for Tokyo. Facilities are clean, staff is friendly. To be honest I have nothing bad to say about the place
