Overview
Takayama's longest-running minshuku (since the 1920s) has both Japanese- and Western-style rooms, hot-spring bath and free bicycle use.
We have 7 Japanese-style rooms with Tatami mat floors. Futons(Japanese mattresses) are provided. In addition we offer 2 hotspring common baths between the hourse of 4 and 10pm and 7 and 9am.
Other facilities include an internet space, 12 rental bikes, a coin-operated laundry service (525yen / 1time) and a free parking facility.

Minshuku Kuwataniya is conveniently located in the heart of Takayama city only a 6 minute walk from JR Takayama Station.
Facing the East-gate of Kokubunji Temple, the oldest temple in Takayama, it has a quiet atmosphere which will make your stay comfortable.
