Liked: Fantastic, friendly host, nice big room, warm futon, LOVELY onsen bath and the Japanese-style breakfast was amazing!!! Highly recommend to everyone.

Liked: nice room with tatami matts, towels and yukatas. go for the bath!! (very nice onsen) breakfast and dinner on request

Liked: Well, the price, the common bathtub (continually filled with thermal water) and the parking lot, as I got there by car.

Liked: The Japanese breakfast, the Koi pond in the backyard and the Japanese style hot bath really give you the feeling of being in Japan, if you didn't feel so before arriving in clean and beautiful Takayama.

Liked: Great ample Japanese breakfast for 800 yen and dinner for 1500 yen. Nice steamy communal bath. Most of the guests were Japanese. Made to feel very welcome. It is on the river away from downtown noise so very peaceful.
