Liked: Basic hotel in very central spot, 3 min from Metro station.

Disliked: Bedclothes were not ironed and looked shabby, hard pillows. One window did not close hermetically so noise was coming in from the busy street below.

Liked: Friendly staff and nice room.

Disliked: Hair dryer! One part kept falling off! But that is most likely the only thing to dislike..

Liked: The room was spacious, staff was helpful (though they couldn't get the Wi-Fi working in the lobby), and the location was really ideal, just steps away from Dotonbori. Also, the shared bath facilities are pretty nice.

Disliked: The Wi-Fi in the lobby is less than convenient. Staff tried repeatedly to get it set up on my iPhone before eventually giving up. Another guest I spoke to said that he found success on about the sixth try. Free public Wi-Fi is pretty non-existent in Japan (or so it seems), so it would have been nice to have had access at the hotel. Also, I don't know if the meal prices were standard for ryokans, but 1500 yen seemed kind of steep for breakfast. I wound up picking up all my breakfasts at the bakery and 7-Eleven down the road.

Liked: It was able to offer a very pleasant room that combined traditional Japanese with full ensuite. The staff were very helpful, and provided a wonderful service throughout my time there.

Liked: fantastic location!!!! the private twin share room was very large and comfortable with two seperate wash bowls which was very convenient. this hostel is much more of a hotel type rather than the usual hostels that you would come across so very reasonable pricing

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
