 Although the owners spoke little english, they were friendly and always tried to help.It was neat and tidy and completely safe. It was a great location, close to lots of shopping and fantastic food!

Great location and traditional tatami rooms which you can share with your friends (i.e can sleep 2 - 5 people on futons in the tatami room).

Location- near all the action but not too noisy. Nice big traditional style room with en suite and closed in balcony area looking over the street for hanging out and people watching.

I loved the tatami room we stayed it. It was clean, comfortable and added greatly to my Japanese experience. Also the staff were very kind and friendly whenever we asked them for information. The area is busy and comes to life at night which means you can easily find food, drink and... other things... after a long day of sightseeing.

the rooms of the hostel are very spacious for japan ;). the interiour dsign was very japanese with tatami mats, kotatsu, futon and shouji windows (covering the glass windows). Each dormitory room (4-6 people) has it's own bathroom so no problem to get ready in the morning. Both bathroom and bedroom can be locked from inside to provide privacy. From my room i had a beautifull view over Dotonbori river. On the first floor there was a balcony on which people had barbeque on evenings. The staff was very friendly, some only speaking Japanese but the manager speaks english fluently. Theres no curfew so it's very convenient when you go for drinks. The location is very convenient for shopping and close to a station. Perfekt for groups!

Very friendly owner, very helpful, helped to plan my stay, gave good travel advice, and took us out to some bars and restaurants! Very enjoyable. Free wireless internet, is a good bonus. I stayed in 4 bed dorm, tatami mats, and bunkbeds, and the rooms were a good size. Easy to sleep, comfortable beds. Location was ok to find with map, and isn't that far out of the centre. The neighbourhood is quiet, and is the place to go for good Korean food. Must be one of the best hostels I've stayed in, would recommend without hesitation.

The host was very nice. After the hostel was somehow overbooked and he gave away our room, he took us to a nicer hostel run by the same company and offered us the same price.

It's being relatively cheap, close to transport and a very easy-going environment. I did my own thing, had fun, an enjyed the company.

the rooms are very clean, and the manager is very nice.
The stairs are quiet steep, only one shower and toilet - but this was never a problem.
