Overview

Nestled in the Japan Alps is a magical place steeped in culture and with some terrific skiing and boarding. Nagano was home to the Winter Olympics in 1998. Nozawa Onsen is a very traditional town with beautiful hot springs, friendly locals, and terrific snow.

At Lodge Nagano you can experience the best in Japanese accommodation. The Bunks in all of our rooms Japanese Style Tatami rooms are really comfortable with Futons.

All the rooms are bright, clean and quiet with terrific outlooks on the surrounding mountains and village.

We have a huge kitchen and great dining room, a relaxing lounge area and chill out home theater room, Wireless internet, TV, DVD and stereo.

Other facilities include a laundry service with drying room for ski gear, a ski and boot storage room and work bench for tuning and waxing.

There are toilets and washrooms on each floor and a big Japanese style bath and shower room on the ground floor.

Our front desk can organize lift tickets, gear rental and transport for you. What ever you need, we will do our best to organise it for you.

Location Information

The Lodge is only 100 meters to the slopes and a short stroll to town. Nozawa Village is also famous for its hot springs. Restaurants, pubs, ATM, Post Office and a supermarket are all nearby.

Cancellations more than 60 days prior to the start of booking and with good reason then happy to give a credit for a stay at a later date. Cancellations less than 60days prior to start of booking forfeit 20% deposit. Cancellation within 30 days prior to booking incurs a 50% cancellation fee. We require confirmation of your booking by payment of deposit within 72 hours of sending the booking form or your booking. A deposit of 20% of the Total Charge for accommodation and guest services if you have requested them are to be paid with confirmation of the booking. Payments can be made by direct debit into our account in either Japan or Australia or by credit card. There is a 2% Charge for paying by credit card. Please ensure to write your name or booking reference when making payment.
