Liked: The staff here are so nice! Unfortunately my Japanese is pretty limited and that made it a little more difficult to meet people during my stay. While the hostel is great, if you are visiting Nikko keep in mind that it is a couple stops away by train as well as a 20 minute walk from the station. It would probably be fine in the summer but less than ideal in the winter.

Liked: The hostel staff were really nice, but only one was very familiar with english. You should choose to eat at the hostel for dinner, as there isn't much around besides 7-11. The dinner they cook looked really good, although I didn't eat it myself. Make sure and tell them when you get there you want dinner, or you wont get it! From the hostel it is a 25 min. walk to the station, and then a 20 minute train to Nikko. It is a bit too far.

Liked: Although in a somewhat creepy location, about 30 minutes walk from a train station NOT in Nikko, the hostel was a good base and the staff were very friendly...

Liked: Awesome place.Nice quiet place close to Nikko.Has western-style and japanese-style rooms.Has great japanese style breakfast.The owner took us to a great osen place. it was great.It had an outdoor onsen too.

Liked: Staff very kind to me and I love the environment there,It s really surprise for me to get there because at first I miss other place where I can not made a reservation. Here is wonderful place fo me and I will come back here when I come to NIKKO again.

Liked: It's a nice, relaxing place to stay and the owners are more than happy to drive you to and from the train station. However, it is quite out of the way: 20 minutes walk from the train, 15 minutes from the nearest restaurant, 10 minutes from a grocery (a really great one though!).
