Liked: The hotel has cheap internet and plenty of flyers on offer for travellers.

Disliked: The sound insulation was nonexistent and the beds were bunk beds with one-inch-thick mattress. The room door was also very shaky, which gave us a feeling of lacking security. The reception seemed to be open pretty randomly and there's a midnight curfew.

Liked: it was very clean and I felt safe

Disliked: The owner was impolite bordering rude. Owner refused to use air conditioning during day except when his English teacher came to give a class, and skimpy at night. Lounge was HOT, my room was an oven which I could not use during the day and sweated throughout the night. This owner is not a 'people person'!

Liked: The location is quite good if you wanna stay near Narita Airport. Nothing particular else raise my attention but i quit the hostel very early.

Disliked: I was there for just one night, and didn't met anyone.

Liked: It was a very comfortable place to stay.

Disliked: The only down side was that tourism was down and we were they only ones staying the night there, so we didnt get to meet anyone else.

Liked: Place was clean. We had an A/C.

Disliked: Very small rooms. Everything was strictly controlled and we were turned away by the owner when we tried to go to the lounge because there was some guy trying to teach english to some japanese girl. So no benefits from TV or other entertainment. Whole hostel was totally dead and quiet, extremely boring place with minimum facilities (even hairdryer cost extra if you wanted to use it). Linens and pillows are bad jokes and the owner is a total weirdo geek. Also compared to the value offered, price is very high. Narita is a nice place but make a half-day trip there and stay away from this hostel.

Liked: It was in a good location, close to the airport and was very clean. Free WiFi and coffee too. Reception open later than most places in Japan.

Disliked: Unfortunately, the staff was not very inviting (actually impolite) and I was made too feel like a little kid instead of an adult guest. There were too many signs telling you what to NOT to do in a rather rude way such as how to sleep in the linen (Something like, "Don't sleep directly on the blanket. Use the sheet.") Also, there was some ridiculous charge for towel rental of 200yen ($2.30 about) and a 'fine' of 300yen ($3.50) if you used the linens to dry yourself off if you didn't feel like renting a towel. Plus, other signs that were just rude saying, "Never ....." I just felt like, can't these people realize that the people staying here are not adults and that it's an international crowd? It felt too nanny-like. The worst thing was that, IT WAS FREEZING inside the rooms! There was only one space heater that barely warmed up an upper bunk of the room I was in. Fortunately, there were no other traveler's so I moved up there. It was very uncomfortable and seemed cheap and stingy on the part of the owners not to heat the place up a little more. All in all, I felt like the management of this place was really selfish and didn't take into consideration that I and others were PAYING guests who were ADULTS. And with all the signs telling us what not to do and the attempt to impose some silly fine over something that seemed small while ALSO failing to provide adequate heating in the rooms shows that this hostel had a negative and adversarial view towards its guests. A very immature and territorial attitude indeed.

Liked: It's clean and nice and probably best deal you want to be near Narita Airport. You can visit Naritasan Temple, eat local food & buy sake on the way.

Disliked: If you have a big luggage you need to carry until 3F.

Liked: if you are a cleanliness maniac, this is the place to be. the guy who worked there seemed totally nuts about ventilation (cold, cold!!!) and was watching our every step. "dont do this and that" notes everywhere.but close to the airport and a decent place to wait for your flight.

Liked: Pretty easy to find, very convenient if you are taking a flight out from Narita afterwards. The park in Narita itself is definitely worth going to if you are here too.

Liked: Nicely decorated, easy to find, very helpful staff, a great sushi bar only 30 seconds' walk away, and only 10 minutes from the centre of Narita. Narita is a great place and should be visited by more people - the temple is stunning! I'll use this hostel every time I pass through Narita.

Liked: Hostel was the nicest, cleanest and friendliest I have stayed in so far. A great place to start a tour through Japan which is unlikely to be beaten for value. I would reccomend it to anyone!
