Liked: Ha ha well the owner is the best. Othervise it was quite strange to come to the quiet countryside after the big and mighty Tokyo. Anyway, I think I would had had even better image of the place if I had visited it any other season than in the winter.

Disliked: Beacuse of the winter the palce wasn't always so warm because it's common in Japan to heat house in the winter as less as possible. So even when there were five people sleeping in one room I woke up to the coldness and realised that I could see my breath as a steam in the air. Also walking to the stores in a breezy winter wind alongside a big road in dark was a bit uncomfrotable, but it was winter alright so nothing you can do about it.

Liked: Best Hostel I have stayed so far. Its not the fanciest and its not in the most happening part of town (it is literally on the edge of Narita) which is a rural area near the airport. The owner is very cool. He offers convenient rides and is a good guide to Japan. Getting there is not hard as it look. Take Bus 13 from Terminal 2. Get off at the second major stop (its right next to a 7-11). You will walk till you reach a gas station. Make a right and you are there. Getting to airport after a stay is simple cause Mr. Yamamoto offers free rides.

Disliked: Nothing. The owner is truly a character.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is small and cozy, so an easy place to meet other travelers. The rooms are communal but you have a small area to yourself.

Disliked: It's a popular place for people to stay before　or after being at the airport, so PEOPLE come and go at different times durig the day and night.

Liked: The manager took the time to write down various train times through 3 station transfers to hiroshima. He was very enthusiastic about our stay in Japan and he was our highlight of Narita.

Liked: It's like 15minutes from Narita airport so it might be convenient place to stay if you first stay somewhere not close to Narita and then need to fly back home. If you need to staff comes with car to pick you up from airport and leaves you back to airport when you go back which is really nice. Nothing wrong with the place otherwise either, there is wireless internet too, you can ask for password.

Disliked: Location isn't the best for trip to Japan but if you wanna stay around where this place is for few days it's good place to stay.

Liked: The airport pickup and drop off service was amazing. I had a long flight to Japan and it was really nice to have this type of service that first night in Japan.

Disliked: The hostel was a bit remote from any things to do.

Liked: Really clean and feels like a homestay inside. The panels separating the various tatamis are a great idea in the shared dorms. Yama is organised, helpful & funny to chat to. Free pick up & drop off plus free internet v useful.

Disliked: Two very small points. Was a hot day (it was 30C by 9am) so got quite sweaty at night with no air con. Close proximity to Narita is good but also meant you can hear the planes overhead.

Liked: The owner was very nice and helpful! And spoke good English!! Also places nearby were also very welcoming it was a good experience.

Liked: The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely a good spot to stay for an arrival or departure from Narita Airport.

Disliked: The location was a bit out of the way and there wasn't much in the surrounding area.

Liked: 5star. Mr Yama is friendly and very helpful. Goes out of his way to help travelers alot. Comfortable accomidation, clean, peaceful. Great place to relax. Not for the Heavy Party types.
