Liked: Good location and clean

Disliked: The futon was thin, the property is located on 4th - 6th floor, so be prepared to lug your luggage up the steps. There is no locker with lock to put valuables.

Liked: The staff is really great and helpful with whatever problem or question you might have. During my stay we had a BBQ on the rooftop which I thought was really great. The location is very convenient to the main street as well as to the ferry port and in the night it was quiet.

Disliked: I was never able to get a good temperature in the shower, but maybe that was my fault. I would definitely stay there again, because nothing really bothered me and the people made my stay very pleasant!

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the hostel has a really laid back, relaxing atmosphere that jives well with the laid back atmosphere of Naha city itself.

Disliked: The hostel rooms are split into two floors that are separated by an outside stairwell. There's only one shower that can be used by men, so if you're on the floor without the shower, you have to carry your stuff outside and up the stairs to get to the next floor.

Liked: The owner was immensly helpful and friendly, and I met some very nice people there. The hostel is easy to find and very clean.

Disliked: The dorm room I stay ed in was very small. The fifth bed was obviously added in an afterthought and shouldn't have been, as it leaves people on the upper bunk with nowhere to go at times when there are people moving around below them, but it's a minor concern.

Liked: The place was clean and full of character, with cute touches from the owner. Shower had hot water and was spotlessly cleaned, so was the kitchen and WC, so I had a comfortable time there.

Disliked: The walls were a bit thin, so when someone entered the room, it was quite noisy.

Liked: We really enjjoyed our stay in Sora House. It's nice and cozy and the staff is really helpful (helped us book a trip to churaumi aquarium, gave us a lot of advices to visit some places). We totally recommend this place and visiting Okinawa is totally worth it.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay here at Sora House. I originally visited Okinawa for a few days beach getaway, however, my plans seemed to coincide with a typhoon, which really rather changed them. So for one day everybody was stuck inside as everything except for the convenience store and the post office shut (including the airport, monorail and bus service). Either side of this the weather was rather drab, cold and rainy, not ideal for the beach, so I got to to see the touristic buildings in Naha instead and learnt a lot about Okinawan culture and probably enjoyed myself a little more. Plus on my last day they had an Eisa dance festival along Kokusaidori which was amazing. I can't wait to go back and see the rest of Okinawa and the other islands. I would also recommend eating at a small izakaya not far from the hostel called Ryuukyuu. It was full of locals (usually a good sign) and had beautiful food (an English menu, for those who don't speak Japanese). However, I guess they don't get many foreigners in there as when they saw us (me and 2 others from the hostel) they couldn't have been more excited and glad to have us eat there. One more piece of advice: definitely make sure you give yourself plenty of time to see everything and plan around possible typhoons!

Disliked: It says that breakfast is included which it's not but for the price and great value of this place it really wasn't an issue.

Liked: It was a great atmosphere! they organised special dinners for us and we just had to put in 300 yen towards. food was amazing! people were fantastic! i would recommend this place if you want a good location and helpful friendly staff!

Disliked: it was on the 4th and 5th floor so it was hard to bring baggage up. but it was worth it!!!

Liked: itz very clean n cozy for its price. the staff is very nice and helpful. friendly for tourists.

Disliked: itz on 4/F and 5/F! a bit difficult with my packs without an elevator. and people here seem shy? very quiet and not easy to meet ppl

Liked: Great location very close to Kokusai Dori. Staff are very friendly and helped us with directions and bus schedules. Very comfortable, laid back atmosphere.

Liked: I liked the common area as it was a welcoming space in which you could meet with other hostel guests...it also provided free internet and hot drinks...plus it contained information relevant to it's location. Staff were great too!!

Disliked: Air conditioning was only available during the late evening and night time in the dorm rooms, this made the rooms very stuffy and uncomfortable during the day.
