 It's near from JR Nagoya but not 10 minutes. About 15-20 minutes

the staff were very helpful and friendly - the reception was very nice but the room was EXTREMELY small and hot. if there was air con it was not clear how to turn it on!

I particularly liked the location. It's located in between the Central Nagoya and Sakae stations, two must-see attractions in the city. I also liked the idea of providing guests with kimonos.

They kindly booked us a taxi for the train station for the morning. There was also free internet and we had our own bathroom...not always the case in Japan.

The staff were very friendly. Individual rooms did not have toilet and bath. The facility was decently clean. The Japanese breakfast was really good for 700 yen.

Originally was booked into a smoking twin--when I called, they said there were no non-smokings available, but if one would pop up, they would switch our room immediately. they never called back about that, but my friend and i were pleasantly suprised when we arrived and found ourselves reg'd for a non-smoking room WITH private bath and toilet (which was also not part of the original room reservation), all for the same price! very accomodating!
