Liked: The owner was amazingly nice, drove me to multiple drug stores and the hospital after i had a somewhat severe allergic reaction using his own gas and car, and the place was the most luxurious hostel i have ever stayed in.

Liked: I slept in a dormitory of four, with only an other guy.We have all the services we can wish : complete bathroom, TV, fridge, free internet in the lobby, tea etc, but not breakfast. All that for 3,000 yens (it means 37 dollars only !). I forgot the bath outside in a very nice little Japanese garden !The location is only 7 or 8 minutes by bus from the main station of Nagoya.

Liked: We had a very luxurious room at a reasonable price with our own bath, dining area, tv, computer, fridge and even a view of a japanese garden! Lovely hotel and very friendly service. Recommended to weary travelers wanting a good rest in Nagoya.

Liked: The first impression was the design of the ryokan, with the facilities like overnight onsen really made our stay more meaningful. Initially we thought we are sharing with another( because 3 of us booked for mixed dorms for 4) and shared bathroom, at the end we found we had a private bathroom. PC with internet was available. In addtion, an I Mac PC at each room really impressed us. We wish to stay few days here, however our itinery is not allowed us to do so. I will strongly recommend who ever would like to travel Nagoya, just remember Kyoya Ryokan.

Liked: this was a great hostel!!!! hiro was so fantastic!!!!! he was so helpful! it was our first time in a ryokan and without doubt a fab 3 days, the public baths were a great experience to say the least!

Liked: The public bath was small but immaculately clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and internet is readily available. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nagoya.

Liked: beautiful place, and very comfortable rooms complete with tv and computers for internet access.a little far from the jr and subway stations though, which can be a pain after a day of sight-seeing.

Liked: Hiro, the owner is very friendly and will make sure you have everything you need. The room was beautiful and garden out back and the bath house were also very nice.

Liked: Not as easy to faind as expected (we had to ask way once when we were on the wrong edge of the block) but definitely worth coming. And easy to find the second time you come there :-) .
