Liked: A traditional Ryokan. We booked the ensuite room which is big and has a good and clean bathroom with separate toilet. Very friendly owner! The ryokan is located close to the station and convenient for sightseeing.

Disliked: some parts of the property were a bit worn, but if you don't mind it gives the place character

Liked: Very nice and clean place. Helpfull staff. Adequate pricing. Would come back anytime if in Nagasaki.

Liked: I had the private double suite and it was like a little apartment. Very cozy and well decorated. The owner was waiting for us out front, and even set out hot tea for when we arrived. Staying here was very pleasant.

Liked: We stayed for two nights at this lovely ryokan. It was very quiet, affordable, clean and in traditional Japanese style. The staff is also super friendly. Highly recommended.

Liked: We loved so much about this property - it's location is fantastic, the room (we got the Matsu Suite) was lovely and clean, the staff were very helpful (in spite of their minimal English and our minimal Japanese we managed to communicate really well). We didn't have meals there but the cooking smells made us wish we had - next time we will! A great place for a peaceful pitstop of a couple of nights at least.

Liked: It is a small familiy runned ryokan and it was very nice to stay there. The room was big and everything very clean. We got green tea everyday when we came home. The security is not to be topped, the owner stands next to you even when you take off your shoes! That was a bit weird, but all in all a great place to stay in Nagasaki!!

Liked: It's a short walk from Nagasaki train station which is very convenient. Owner is very friendly and the place has an easy going atmosphere. Our room was spacious and looked out onto the street. Its building is nestled amongst other residential buildings so it almost felt like living along with the other people in the city.

Liked: Fujiwara-san was really helpful. Liked the "high-class" treatment and the TV on my room. Definately a place to stay at in Nagasaki, just hop on a tram from FH and visit any part of the town.

Liked: The room are spacious with a very japanese style. We can also sleep on the tatami mats. It's so special. The hostel also provide you with japanese tea. love that so much.Family atmosphere, nice owner(although he can't speak english well, he tried his best to communicate with you.)value for money toooo.

Liked: I stayed in a spacious tatami room with private bath and toilet. The room was relaxing, beautiful, and very clean. It was easy to find from the JR Nagasaki station and it was close to major attractions and tram stops. It is an incredible value for the price! I`m recommending it to everyone I know!

Liked: Owner is very helpful, very convenient location (near the Sakura-machi tram stop) and quiet. The room was very Japanese and we really enjoyed the idea of sleeping on futons on the tatami mats. The size of the room we had was the largest we ever had in Japan (we had the Japanese ensuite for two). Everything was clean and neat, so we felt very comfortable.On the downside however, we didn't have very free access to the kitchen for basic things like eating utensils and hot water. Although, if you ask the owner for it, he will happily provide it to you, but you will need to know what you want in Japanese. Owner does not speak much English but we somehow managed to communicate
