We are a 2-story wooden building. Relax and enjoy in our spacious mineral-rich baths. It will be a real treat after a busy day of your sightseeing!! All rooms are without bath. But some of our rooms are with toilet.

Welcome to Ryokan Seifuso.

You can find very cozy and clean japanese-style room with individual air-conditioning through out the ryokan. Guests can relax in different styles of Japanese bath. Ryokan Seifuso serves fresh, seasonal Japanese cuisine to their guests.

They lend bikes for free, what is really convenient is to move around the area.

Pick-up at the Matsumoto station is available between 3PM - 5PM, 7PM - 8PM. Please call us from Matsumoto tourist office at the station.

Accommodation Information

In your room:
Yukata (cotton kimono robe), bath and face towels, soap, shampoo and hair conditioner, a Japanese Tea set with a thermos pot, hair drier, tissue paper, alarm clock, air conditioner and free CATV. A steam iron can be rented free.

Facilities:
Spacious mineral-rich communal baths separated for men and women, dining room, vending machine, Web-ready PC, printer, fax and free parking.

Location Information

Located in a quiet riverside residential district outside the city center, the Ryokan Seifuso is your ideal base for your exploring what Matsumoto and its surrounding area of natural wonders has to offer.

Within walking distance from Seifuso are Matsumoto Castle, a national treasure and the historic former Kaichi Primary School dating from 1876. There are many museums worth a visit in Matsumoto, including the folklore museum and the Matsumoto Art museum.

Festivals abound in Matsumoto is year-round and our spacious communal mineral-rich baths are a real treat after a busy day's sightseeing.
