Liked: At first I thought it was a hostel, but it's actually a homestay. So it turned out to be even better. Baba the owner of the house is so kind and friendly. You really feel like you're home. She really take care of you and supply you with unlimited green tea and coffee.The place is a little far from the station, but very near the nature. If you need some rest and wanna spend some time in the nature, this is the place to go. Very near is the main tourist town Karuizawa. Pay it a visit.To arrive at the guesthouse, you need to get off at Karuizawa station and use the local train to Shinano Oiwake. Make sure Kazuki pick you from the station. Trying to find it by walking is really hard.

Liked: -really friendly and helpful staff-pickup service-apartment style accomodations (cheap for the size and pretty clean)-great for a nature getaway, great view of japanese alps. - delicious food (bbq etc) available at the main house (couple of minutes away from some of the apartments) for cheap
