Liked: Clean facilities, well organised and very friendly staff. Overall relaxed atmosphere. Buses stop at 6pm ish but actually not too far to walk from town

Liked: Kaze no Yasuyado has a fantastic interior, an extremely helpful staff, and an extraordinarily relaxing environment. It's the best hostel I've stayed in so far in Japan!

Liked: The owners were really nice and friendly, and provided many extra little things that we weren't expecting and really appreciated, like delicious home-made pickles, detergent when we did laundry, and even a ride to the train station and a bag of bananas to eat on the train when we left! The hostel was clean and quiet and comfortable--I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Matsumoto.

Liked: the fact that we where the only ones there, it was a wounderful time. she allowed us to use her kitchen so I could cook a mean for my Fiance. the useage of her bikes was wounderful, that and the fact that we didnt have to pay. always a great thing.

Liked: This hostel was fantastic! The family who run it were so helpful and welcoming. It's in a great location and is a really beautiful place. It's not like your average youth hostel - here you really feel like you're experiencing the real Japan.

Liked: The staff were friendly and gave me a left to the station afterwards. However, the location is quite isolated, difficult to get to and far from shops, restaurants, cars and so on. Also, the map was a little difficult to follow. However, the place was clean, quiet and friendly, so, if I had a car, I would definitely stay there again.
