Liked: We liked everything about K's House Mt Fuji. The pick up from the train station was especially convenient, the staff was so friendly, great location, nice rooms, and exceptionally clean. I couldn't find fault with my stay here, and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Disliked: Rebecca left no negative feedback.

Liked: Good kitchen, had a dorm to myself as it was pretty quiet.

Disliked: Would have been nice to have more people, but probably quiet cause its winter.

Liked: The facilities are very good when compared with other hostels. It has a very clean environment and near to the sightseeing spots. The staff are very nice and very helpful. It is a great hostel.

Disliked: The location is not close to the railway station. It is difficult to find the place if you do not take the shuttle. It is recommanded to take the taxi from the railway station which cost only 710 yen.

Liked: The free shuttle bus was a winner after a long day traveling from Kyoto! Great onsen next door also with an outdoor pool. Discount coupons to many activities like the ropeway and onsen.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. The luggage room was secure, a nice touch, and the kitchen/living area was very comfortable.

Disliked: A good deal of their clients are people climbing Fujisan. With this is mind, it would be nice if they offered an early check in option - we (and many others) hiked overnight, saw the sunrise, etc. and arrived at the hostel around noon, entirely exhausted. We were allowed to drop our bags, but not get too our rooms; understandable but not ideal considering their client base.

Liked: the staff were so nice, always happy to help, the day walking/bus tour they offer is well worth it, got to see lots of sights we wouldnt have been able to otherwise. nice big spacious rooms with your own reading light. everything was so clean

Liked: Very clean, bright and spacious. Great friendly and helpful staff, onsen is right around the corner. Have bikes for rent. There's a good bar behind. Dorms not too big, only six bunks. Close to main street and a 1-15 minute walk to some good restaurants, depending on what you want. Highly recommend Akai for great noodles!

Disliked: If you don't manage to get a free bus service to the station it's a 15-20 minute walk.

Liked: Very nice hostel with lots of common areas to enjoy and rest. Good option after climbing Mount Fuji. Very nice dorms. Helpful staff. Not very close to the station but easy to find (you can also ask for the pick up service). Close to the lake, which has very nice views of the mountain when there are no clouds. Free internet. I would definately recommend it.
