Sakura House is a hostel for travelers in the heart of Kyoto. It's on the east side of the city close to all the tourist attraction such as the temples, Down Town and Gion.

We have re-opened on Nov 22, 2009!

Now the Sakura House provides an outstanding level of accommondation for a wide range of travlers since the building was built as Ryokan.

With cozy rooms and friendly staff, we offer convenient, secure services and a homely atmosphere with some of the best prices in the city!

The hostel offers the following services and facilities:

Big kitchen facility featuring a microwave, gas range, fridge, toaster, Wi-Fi and broadband internet access, air-conditioning and shower.

We also provide bed linen for Japanese style futon(all rooms) and access to a washing Machine where you can do your laundry(100yen).

We provide you these facilities 24 hours:

Accommodation Information

All rooms are traditional Japanese style room with Futon (Japanese style mattress) like Ryokan style.

Please note that double rooms are smaller.

2nd Floor:

2A (Private room with view 2700yen/ person/ night)

2C (Private double room with no view 2400yen/ person/ night) smaller room

2D (Private room with Balcony 3000yen/ person/ night)

3rd Floor:

3C (Private double with view2500yen/ person/ night) smaller room

3D (Private twin with view 3100yen/ person/ night) 1 single bed + 1 futon in Japanese Tatami room

It's only 5 min to Gion and River, 10 min walk to the center of Down Town. We are also only a few minutes to the supermarket, 100 yen convenience stores, seven eleven(with international ATM), big post office, library, etc...
