At Ryokan Hirashin, we offer banquet and meal plans with the flavors of Kyoto’s four seasons, as well as peaceful rooms like you will only find in Kyoto.

Conveniently located in the heart of Kyoto, Hirashin is a traditional Japanese-style inn with more than 140 years of history.

The hotel features a wide range of modern facilities and services in its 27 well-appointed guestrooms and throughout the premises. Modern comfort and convenience are seamlessly combined to ensure the guests' satisfaction. This hotel is characterized by a combination of modern comfort and traditional element of Kyoto, making it a distinct accommodation.

There are 4 different baths in the inn. (female x 2, male x 2). The spacious public bath has been renovated in 2006. Yukata (light Japanese cotton robe) which guests wear after taking bath are available in your room.

All rooms are air-conditioned spacious en-suite Japanese-style rooms with TV and fridge.

The amenities include, towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, soap, light cotton kimono, shaver, and a drier.

For the meals, we bring all the flavors and colors of Kyoto’s passing seasons to your table.
Enjoy them to your heart’s content as you take in the Kyoto scenery.

Location Information

Only 3 minutes walk from Shijo-karasuma Station, one of the main stations in Kyoto city.

It is easy to access major sightseeing spots. Although located in the entertainment district of Kyoto, it is located in a quiet neighborhood. A convenience store is within 5 minutes walk from our ryokan.

The famous market, Nishiki Ichiba market is 2 min walking away.
