Liked: Free and easy internet, laidback, helpful Kyoto local, homey living room
Disliked: Difficult to find - spot on directions but no signage on the door to indicate a hostel.

Liked: Bilingual speakers who knew places very well, recommended best places to see/things to do, have bike hiring
Disliked: have very small heater and gets very cold at night, poor lighting, have no where to safekeeping your luggage, floor board creaks, room and kitchen (microwave/kettle) areas were dirty/dusty, the showers have no place to put clean clothes/towels

Liked: Good value for money, and friendly helpful staff. They also had bikes to rent for the day which is definitely recommended for a good way to see Kyoto!
