Everything is perfect. The manager is Brazilian and has the most welcoming staff I have ever seen!

Oliver, the hostelowner is a great guy! The nicest hostelowner i've met on my travelling. The hostel is quite small, but there is a good atmosphere and it's right in the center of Kyoto.

Very friendly staff, helpful in all planning, the rooms have a lot of light and enough place to store luggage. With nine people sharing one dorm quiet busy, one shower is very few for all the people

the owner Oliver was especially nice and really explained a lot to us about Japan and the culture, and was very helpful in giving directions around the city

If you'll be using buses it's not far from the main stops! And Kyoto station isn't to far. Also major shopping areas are within walking distance

Oliver (owner) is great, very friendly and chatty and helpful; always asking if everyone is ok. I also liked the "homey" feeling of the place, the lounge and kitchen area is just like your own tv room at home.

In my opinion the hostel was in a good location easily accessible by bus and subway. The staff and atmosphere were great, you feel at home instantly.
