Liked: Oliver (owner) is great, very friendly and chatty and helpful; always asking if everyone is ok. I also liked the "homey" feeling of the place, the lounge and kitchen area is just like your own tv room at home.

Liked: In my opinion the hostel was in a good location easily accessible by bus and subway. The staff and atmosphere were great, you feel at home instantly.

Liked: Convenient location. Cheap. Clean hostel. Very modern facilities (as hostel was only 3 weeks old)

Liked: CHeap and a good place to meet people, as there are many beds. But the beds are hard, and the nights are noisy

Liked: The location is only next to the Shogun Castle, but hard to locate for the first time.All the other important attracions aren't that closeby. 10-15 min by bus from kyoto station. The staff was extremely noisy, safety as well was doubteble. The good thing it is clean and you have a good bed and shower, don't expect anything more from this hotel.
