The room was very clean and comfortable. The communal facilities were excellent and the hostel was very quiet at night. The location was also very good.

Absolutely amazed by this place. They have just built a new 6 floor block which is incredible. Its facilities are amazing. Big kitchen, great common room, roof terrace. Rooms are very nice and bathrooms have the mad Japanese toilets. Everything is spotless.

the hostel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, also is in a very good location, closed to the JR, to the Bus stop. I will totally will stay there again in my next visit to Japan.

Like a 5 stars hotel.
Very convenient (close to kyoto station), very nice atmosphere.
It would be nice if the breakfast time could start earlier (if you want to take breakfast).

This hostel is very clean and swanky. You almost feel like you're staying at a hotel and the Zen Bar next door is a great place to chat, have a drink or enjoy a breakfast buffet. One thing I would like to note here though is that is place has a bit of a sterile feeling. It is not "homey" at all. This is more of a place for people traveling in groups instead of for individuals. It is also be bit of a walk (especially if you've been drinking) from the main strip.

This is the best hostel we've stayed in Japan, lovely helpful staff, great facilities and close to everything. Would definitely recommend this place and would go back again!
