Liked: There was nothing we were in want for while staying here. They have everything you could need an more! Converters, fridges, a fun common space, free umbrellas! The really nice guy at the front desk even helped us order a pizza one night. Overall a fantastic trip!

Disliked: Well, I kept forgetting my card in the room, but that's my fault not theirs. :)

Liked: Everything! It was the cosiest and cleanest backpackers I've ever stayed at! The staff were so helpful, the kitchen and bathroom were so clean, the rooms were cosy and the atmosphere was fun. I would recommend this for any traveller - backpacker or not!

Disliked: Nothing. It was great!

Liked: We stayed in a twin room and it was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The breakfast in the morning was such good value and kept us going all the way until dinner time. The lounge is a very comfortable, communal place to hang out. The kitchen is excellent. We loved our stay here! Everyone was so friendly, awesome!

Liked: Great staff and great overall hostel. Clean, tidy, good atmo, cheap food avail etc. Best place stayed in Japan. If had time again would like to try out the K's in Tokyo if this place was anything to go by.

Disliked: Nothing, actually a great backpacking hostel.

Liked: Loved the deck on the roof!

Disliked: They closed the rooftop deck at 9:00 and the deck at 10:00. My room seemed to have an odor.

Liked: The common area was quite neat and surprising.

Disliked: For private accomodations, there weren't any private bathrooms or fridge, this was not so convenient for us. And we had to wait for quite a long time in order to take a bath or use the sink. The private rooms were a bit small as well. Only a bed and a tv.

Liked: Good location within walking distance to JR Station. Brilliant dorms with lockers on bed, individual lamp, wifi access, several services offered, friendly and helpful staff, secure wireless keys, highly recommended.

Liked: very clean, very efficient, great size rooms, like staying at a hotel

Disliked: the average age of guests was about 45, which is fine unless your wanting to socialise. and the hostel is a fair while away from the main shopping street (45 min walk) but great location in terms of JR

Liked: everything. The bar downstairs is a good place to meet people and has a great environment. It's not too far from the centre of town and the staff were wonderful. I was not so keen on the mixed dorm rooms, as i had a group of men arrive at midnight for check in and woke me up.

Liked: There was an adjacent bar/cafe. The bathrooms were spotless. You can borrow board games. There are computers for internet (though you must pay). There's a kitchen on the second floor. Staff were nice and helpful.

Disliked: Tiny dorm-style rooms. Everything about the place I loved except how tiny and depressing the room was. I would hesitate to return here for that reason alone.

Liked: The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It offered more facilities than the usual hostel and I would definitely stay there again.

Disliked: It was a little difficult finding the location at first, but the map they provide on their website definitely helps.

Liked: Everything!! The staff are amazing and friendly, the hostel is so clean, the dorm rooms are brilliant with dividing curtains inside bathrooms computers. Free umbrellas to borrow in case of rain, free bread a day plus butter and tea and coffee. Cheap snacks. Great self catering fAcilities, and free washer and powder with cheap drier. Cheap bike hire. Perfect location, minutes away from the area to spot geisha. Seriously recommend if you want the best hostel in Kyoto. Thankyou guys!!

Liked: spacious rooms with lockers under the bed. Great common room and kitchen, knowledgeable staff and bar downstairs. Really good place to meet people.

Disliked: Only one small fault was that we changed rooms and our sheets weren't changed as we checked in early and the cleaner didn't realise we were new guests.
