Liked: It was nice and small. Friendly host and plenty of little perks *free coffee, tea and internet and cheap rental of bikes

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice location of the hostel (all small old buildings around), Take the phone number with you. It helps a lot to go there by taxi....

Liked: It is wery small, but it is cosy. THE guy who runs it is absolutly lovely, the perfect host! Because it is tiny, it isn' a party hostle, but I made friends with a couple of people ther, and we had a great time together.

Liked: Its very familiar atmosphere and friendly manager. Many Japanese people stay so there was the opportunity to meet locals and have party with them

Liked: The host is friendly and helpful. The location is ok, very near to supermarket and important bus stops, accessible to stations as well in around 15 mins. i love kyoto and this hostel as well.

Liked: The landlady was wonderful and good at english. Extremely helpful! Guided me to a good tofu restaurant, helped me to chose places to visit and told me the best way to get there. She made my day.
