Liked: the staff was really nice. the hostel was only 1 minutes away from the ferry to miyajima and the price was really cheap. great hostel!

Disliked: the only negativ thing is that you have to pay for internet.

Liked: Staff is awesome and there are optional activities available. Location is great!

Disliked: Being picky, the dorm rooms are basically separated by a curtain but then there wasn't a lot of people around so I had no noise disruption.

Liked: Pretty much everything! I have rarely felt so welcome in a hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful and really friendly. Best hostel I've stayed in for absolutely ages!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The atmosphere and friendliness of the staff has easily been the best I have experienced in japan..the location is also fantastic for miyajima island..had a great time here.

Disliked: I cannot fault this hostel at all

Liked: Very friendly and perfect english speaking staff. Breakfast and dinner was prepared. Very nice atmosphere. Location ist perfect. 25min with the Train to Hiroshima station. There's not that much to see in Hiroshima. 1min to the ferry port. You're in Miyajima in 10min. 7eleven, that accepts international credit cards is quite close. Free Wifi.

Disliked: The japanese style beds are a bit hard.

Liked: Excellent staff - very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Fantastic location - just get outside and you're at the ferry terminal for the ferry to Miyajima. Twenty minute train ride to Hiroshima, but if you have the JR Pass, it's free.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: close to train and ferry, nice when you arrive in the evening with heavy back pack and still whant to go to see the tori in night light

Liked: Really nice staff and easy to meet people. Close to the island

Disliked: Having to pay for internet and other little things. Japanese style dorm was a little uncomfortable and loud. A bit of a hike from Hiroshima.

Liked: You should stay here, the staff are amazingly friendly and make your stay an absolute pleasure!!!! The location is great, nice little seaside spot and so close to Miyajima Island you can roll out of bed and your there!!!

Liked: This place owns a straight 100! It's one of the few places, where you walk into and you instantly feel comfortable and it's one of the places where you always want to stay longer than you intended to stay (because it's a home far away from home). People, atmosphere and location make this place an awesome experience. Make sure you go on the camping trip (which is usually Fridays) and you also wanna convince Yoshi to have a selfmade sushi night :-)

Liked: the place had a nice feel, modern and clean with a good sized common room and evening meal offers too.

Disliked: not ideally placed for central hiroshima but perfect location right next to ferry terminal for miyajima. Also coins for the showers, 100Y for 5 mins, but your first shower is free

Liked: Place is great! If you want to party there's usually something going on but if you want to get some sleep they turn off the lights upstairs & things get quiet at 11pm while things continue downstairs. At nights there is usually great Japanese food for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Disliked: It's a little out of the way of downtown but it's 100 meters from a JR station.

Liked: Great atmosphere, friendly staff, free parties! Very close to the Torii gate

Disliked: no kitchen as such, just a microwave, and lights automatically go out at 11pm, although common room is available 24 hours

Liked: The owner and staff were really nice and friendly. They took really good care of the guests and offered to take us out. They even cooked dinner! The hostel itself is clean and definitely has a fun backpacker atmosphere. Also, the location was perfect for seeing Miyajima, and is really close to both the train station and ferry.

Disliked: Nothing really. I guess the dorms were a bit noisy, but no more than should be expected from a hostel.

Liked: Great staff, always willing to take the extra step to help you. Really funny as well. Amazing location for the ferry ride to Miyajima. Friendly travelers made the stay really comfortable.

Disliked: The beds were rock hard (small mattress on wooden panel) and the hostel was a little far from Hiroshima city center - but if you're only heading to Miyajima, it's perfect.

Liked: I am a big fan of this hostel. It's simple, everything you need and nothing you don't, very clean and well organised and perfect for Miyajima island. For solo travellers its great. The owner Yoshi cooks food every other day and people tend to congregate and drink beers outside on the driveway, chatting about the day or places they have been. The other staff are also really nice and will join in socialising. Many other hostels in Japan are pristine but without any character or social cohesion so this is great.At weekends they organise camping trips to Miyajima island which unfortunatly I missed out on but in retrospect I would have stayed to enjoy since the photo's of the events from a long term resident looked great.

Disliked: The matress is quite thin (Actually this is typical for Japan.) and the dorm is only segmented across the whole floor so it is effectivly a 40 person dorm room (Again, means you can get disturbed but means it is also very social).
