We have just opened the brand-new, friendly hostel "Backpackers Miyajima" in November 2008. Only 10 min to UNESCO world heritage of Miyajima.> 3 min to street-car station.> 5 min to JR Miyajimaguchi station.> Easy access to A-bomb Dome too!>

-Room Info-
All beds are new!
clean and comfortable dormitory ,4 beds dorm and Japanese-style dorm (Futon on tatami mat) are on 2nd and 3rd floor with air conditioner and security lockers.
2nd floor is Mix Dormitry. 3rd floor is for female only.
But all floors will be Mix Dormitries in busy seasons!!

-Facilities-
Useful coin laundry with dryer, kitchen and fridge.
FREE Wi-Fi on the lobby ( accepts iphone ),
Internet :20 min / 100Yen

Big lockers 1 per person, hot water machine, Iron and ironing board
3 very clean shower rooms (coin operated):5 min / 100yen (We set up water clean systems in our building, trying our hand at saving the earth) .

-About Staff-
We LOVE to meet new people!!
Our English speaking staff are very friendly and will help you in anyway they can.
Please ask anything to us. We will give good informations about sightseeing in Hiroshima and Japan.
We're looking forward to welcoming you and for you to feel relaxed and comfortable!

-Time-
The reception is open 8AM to 11AM and 4PM to 10PM.
Check-in time is from 4PM to 10PM.
If you arrive at our hostel earlier, you can leave your luggage at left-luggage room.
The reception is closed after 11PM to 8AM.
Check-out is until 11:00.

-Payment-
Cash only accepted.(Credit Card will be accepted soon.)
At first please go to the reception and ask for a room or say your reservation´s name.
Then get a daily room-ticket from our vending machine next to the reception desk (accepts cash only) for the desired period of stay.
Extension of stay possible if room vacancies.
Finally please bring the ticket to the front desk and check-in.
We take a 1000 Yen deposit for every key handed out.
It will be refunded at check-out.

-Cancellation-
If you want to cancel your booking, please call us immediately!
Please be considerate of other travelers.
We hate having to charge cancellation fees to no-shows, but more than that, we hate having to turn the people away when we don't know whether a booking will show up or not.

1 day before on the day - 50%
3 days before on the day - 30%

-Others-
Non-smoking in the whole building. Smoking area is outside.
Please corporate with the Japanese recycling system and separate your trash.
Save our planet and care about ecology!

We will turn off the lights at 11 pm.

You can see Goma Houyou which monks burn wood and pray for fortunes.
Also monk will walk on the fire!!

Kagura is Original from Hiroshima which is Japanese traditional dance.

-Fire Walking Performance-
15th of November at 11AM in Miyajima island.
A fire Walking ceremony for good luck. Monks walk on the fire.
If you would like to walk in the fire you also can join it!!

16th of Nobember at 9AM in Miyajima island.
A tea ceremony exhibition at Itsukushima Shrine.
You can see a lot of people wearing Kimono.

-Ebisukou Festival-
18th ~ 20th of November in Hiroshima.
Festival of the god of business.
The festival usually pulls in around 300,000 people.
