Liked: the beds all have curtains which is nice in a dorm. the common area is traditional Japanese style (tatami and floor cushions to sit on), and everything was exceptionally clean! free tea/coffee/shampoo/internet also great, and lots of free condiments if you make your own food (but why would you when you can get hiroshima-no okonomiyaki?)

Disliked: the dorm room was a little cramped with 8 beds, and there wsa someone's head right by mine just on the other side of the curtain, which was a little disconcerting. it was co-ed, which is fine except the woman's bathroom was on our floor so the guys just used it instead of going to the next floor. Other than that, great!

Liked: Great staff; friendly and knowledgeable. Good atmosphere with the other travellers. Great facilities which were clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. Walking distance of city centre.

Liked: Staff was extremely helpful. When another customer slept in my bed for some reason, althought it was early in the morning they woke up and gave me an alternative room. Location is good enough.

Disliked: It t would be great if bed room in dorm were more defined. It is a bit confusion that we can choose a bed everyday freely within the same room.

Liked: Well equipt kitchen, friendly staff and luggage racks in the dorms so everyones luggage isn't taking up all the floor space.

Disliked: Cockroaches in the common room were disgusting as its right next to the kitchen area. It was quite supprising as the hostel seems pretty clean overall.

Liked: I met loads of great people in the lounge area which was really cosy. The staff spoke great English and were really helpful. It's a 5 minutes walk from the Peace Memorial Park, a good tram stop and supermarket. The kitchen had good facilities.

Disliked: Our room was a little dark and (staying in an 8 bed dorm) the room was a little cramped but it was fine.

Liked: This place is great. It has a really chilled out atmosphere and the staff here are excellent, approachable and knowledgable. Tomoko helped me a lot while I was there! The hostel is clean and the free tea was a bonus. There are lockers in the rooms but it is not a key lock, so make sure that you bring your own padlock, but I think you can buy/rent them from reception, but I never so I'm not to sure about that. The hostel is just around the corner from Peace Memorial Park.

Disliked: The internet is 100yen for half-an-hour. Some people may struggle to find the hostel as it is down a side-road on the west side of the city just west of the Peace Memorial Museum. There are many alleyways on that side though, so you may have to search well to find it.

Liked: Small, but cozy living room, very nice and easy to meet people. The dorm beds are huge and have a curtain for some privacy. Everything is clean, the kitchen perfectly equipped (we cooked by ourselves). The staff is awesome, nice and helpful!

Disliked: Not much, maybe the price is a little high, but I didn't find anything better in this price class around Japan!!

Liked: Very clean, free goodies such as Wifi, coffee/tea. Good location. walking distance to all sights, yet too far to walk from or to the station (if you carry luggage).

Disliked: Nothing. Totally would recommend this place just like all other j-Hoppers.
