Liked: Dave is very helpful. The 500 yen meals are a bargain, as are the happy hour deals. It is very easy to access the slopes and other facilities.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The Bar and Cheap food, also the lounge and pool table, good spot to meet people. Location is good for buses to the slopes! Staff were very very helpful!

Disliked: Paper thin walls, ( bloody noisy Aussie kids! Sorry rest of the world we are getting worse I know!) Not enough toilets only 2 guys and 2 girls for quite a few people.

Liked: Lots of friendly people, bar was fun, beds were comfy and warm. Excellent location (Echoland) for restaurants/bars/stores and close to shuttle buses to all resorts. Free wireless.

Disliked: Bathroom, shower & kitchen facilities were cramped and not very clean. Bar closed at 10pm but often lots of noise until 12 or later. Rooms were very small.

Liked: Mt. Hakuba Backpackers is in a good location (easy free and fast shuttle bus to the resorts) and has cheap dinners, free pool, bar, and is an okay place overall.

Disliked: The room was really small (really more suitable for one or two beds, not 4). I wasn't too pleased that three guys in my room were allowed to check in at 2:30 in the morning either. Internet isn't free (but it isn't too expensive), and the quality of the skis and boots they rented me were not great. Pretty average place, but good enough for the money and location.

Liked: i had a great time at this hostel. i met a great bunch of people and all got along great. the comunal area was always full of friendly people. it was great location for the shuttle bus around Hakuba / local convienience stores, Bars and places to eat.

Liked: Close to a number of ski slopes. A great place to meet people to ski with if travelling independently. Cheap too!

Liked: I stayed at this hostel for 50 days in total was fun clean and the owners are freindlyvand fun to hang out with. There is a convience store close by the shuttle bus around the corner to take you to the mountains and there are bars close by great location. Also the hostel has bar with cheap but tasty and filling meals. Would recomend staying here for a cheap snow holiday
