The japanese bath is very nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. Very close to entertainment district and the ramen stalls at the river banks. easy 15 minutes walk from JR Hakata and 3 minutes from Gion subway. Super airport access, only three stopps. Owner gave us free ticket for temple lantern festival, thank you!

I liked it very much that is is a very authentic ryokan. It even has a beautiful inner garden and the rooms are specious and well equipped. You can use the internet for free and the staff is very friendly, although their english is not so good.

traditionally hostel but too less shower room just only one private shower bath room in the hostel... but if you don't mind about this it's rather a good choice but if U much concern about shower room it's not your choice

I had no idea about how to get to my ryokan from airport. Then I realized that it was very easy to find. It's very easy to go to many places from Gion subways station.
About accommodation, I could feel and touch real japanese style in this ryokan. Room was clean and most staff are nice. I dont' have any problem about sharing bath (sento)with others even It's a bit strange if compatre with my culture. I just would like to recommend something about staff there. One of them doesn't look friendly at all. I tried to smile to him everytime I spoke with him, but he never smile back to me. I just wonder what I did wrong. :(
Finally, I just love this place and I'm sure that I will go back and stay there soon.

Very nice and large Japanese ryokan-style room. Night-time accessibility to bath facilities. A small but lush garden in the center courtyard for good measure. Great place to stay.

It was a good location, easy to walk to places, close to transport & inexpensive taxi ride to Fukuoka airport.
It was our last stay in Japan & in comparison to other ryokan we did not meet other people here.
