Liked: Whilst it is out of the way the staff were charming and helpful, showing us the room, how to work the heater, asking us when we wanted to use the bath and offered us passes to the local museums we were visiting. The 8:00pm meeting was a great way to meet the other guests and though there weren't many due to it being the off the season it was still a fun experience. The breakfast was delicious and they were willing to accomadate my dietary restrictions. They were also kind enough to give us a ride to the museum we were visiting despite it being quite a distance from both the hostel and the train station. For an off season mini-break it was a lovely place to stay, the level of service was great, the room was warm and the food was lovely.

Disliked: It's a little run down and out of the way. Whilst for a short break it's nice anything more than a few days could lead you wishing for the convinience of a centrally located hotel. That said though, I throughly enjoyed my stay, I received a level of service I wouldn't get at a hotel and I met people I would have not otherwise been able to. Worthwhile if you want a more culturally rich experience.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the food offered was delicious! The rooms were also very warm considering it was the middle of winter.
