Liked: The location is great! Like they described on their website! The staff was very friendly and helpfulness. The first night we stayed in a room with windows to the street. Unter the room is a osteria. There was a party going on. It was no problem to change the room the next day.
Disliked: We had a room with a private bathroom. The bathroom was not part of the room. you had to go over the floor the reach it. In the hostel description I read nothing about it. Breakfast and room was ok, but you could do a bit more to make the stay more enjoyable (e.g. coat hook..)

Liked: Very good location to all of the main attractions.
Disliked: It was a little difficult to find, and once we found it we rang and rang the buzzer and nobody answered even though we arrived in between the time it specifies on the website. Luckily the restaurant next door was open and allowed us to use their phone where we called to let the guy know we were there. Once we got in he told us that the buzzer was broken and the only way to let him know we were there was to call, but if you're traveling internationally not everybody will have a phone. Which is a little inconvenient. Also, it may have been the language barrier but he kept going on and on about how we had to have our reciept on us at all times and that if the broken buzzer were to magically ring not to answer it even if the person on the other end says they are the police. It was just a very confusing conversation to have once arriving. This is definitely more on the hostel side rather than B&B side in my opinion.

Liked: We liked the central location and the quietness of the B & B. The staff were nice and even texted us to check when we would arrive, give us directions and we were able to contact the staff for more blankets later on and to get the heating put on. Breakfast and snacks were good. Despite my negative feedback I would stay here again as it was affordable, we had easy access all hours with our own key and cleanliness is something you often have to give up whilst travelling on a budget.
Disliked: It was not very clean - a little bit grimey and dusty with recognisable stains on the bedside walls etc that had not been scrubbed off - bathrooms were okay but water went everywhere when you showered (as the pressure would change from super high to none at all over and over) and as there's no drain in the floor you had to wade through water. Bit awful when there's a bidet in the way too. The linen was well-washed but old, beds had unwashed patterned bedspreads on them that were even greasy to the touch (lucky we had the sheets to put between us and them!) and the extra blankets we were given were dirty with visible patches of food or who-knows-what on them. Towels were grey and thin. There were no hooks in the room or bathroom to hang clothes/towels etc. Worst of all was for me to awaken COVERED in swollen bites (over 50 we counted) which we could only guess were bed bugs (or fleas!) as my friend did not get bitten in the other bed. We assumed this was because I was cold and took the discarded bedspreads onto my bed to keep warm, whilst my friend only used one of the cleaner looking blankets, so we think the blankets were infested not the beds. There was no kettle to boil water for tea, you were told to microwave it.

Liked: Sonia was really nice to us, she has given good indications and was very friendly. The place is clean, the bed is good. Even the breakfast was great. And the best part is that it was for a very good price. The location is also amazing, its in the "Citadella", very interesting. Verona is a very charming city.
Disliked: The internet signal was poor.
