Liked: Brilliant value for money, comfy bed, great location, nice breakfast.

Disliked: You have to ring the owner when you arrive and we were waiting for him to let us in for quite a while.

Liked: Ensuite room looked pretty and cosy (but not warm). Was greeted by a very friendly man, Danol but only saw him once during our entire stay. Clean and spacious room.

Disliked: Very difficult to find this B&B. The directions they gave to reach this place were not accurate (e.g. the bus no. to take from Verona Porta Nuova). It's supposed to be bed and breakfast which means breakfast is inclusive, however, there was not much food for breakfast except for tea bags and some cookies (these are not even available everyday). Provided us with nutella,jam or marmalade but with no bread or anything to go with. There is no receptionist available at all except for times when newcomers come in to stay. Very difficult to contact person in charge if you ever need anything. Kitchen sink was a mess. Otherwise room was quite clean. Towels that were provided were actually floor mats. Room has a heater but doesn't work? as we didn't feel warm at all. On our very first night we were there, we were very unlucky as we had to shower in ICY COLD water and this is during winter. Had to resort to boiling tap water in the microwave to take a shower. Thankfully, the next day found out that some idiot turned off the heater (in which the switch of our heater was actually outside our room in the kicthen). no wifi or internet available. toilet not very clean with some hairs around and the rubbish bin in the toilet was not emptied when we first arrived. not easy to unlock the main door so couldn't get in to the hostel easily but Danol taught us how to in the end.

Liked: The location was just round the corner from the beautiful Piazza Erbe Square. Clean and genuinely one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!! (Double room with ensuite)

Disliked: On arrival, buzzed the property to which there was no reply. When I then rang the number, I was disappointed to find out that the host was not there and would take 45 minutes to reach the B&B. However, on arrival the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the initial hiccup was very much smoothed over!

Disliked: A very bad experience with the staff. There is no staff permanent in the Hostel. We had to wait an hour under the rain before someone came o open the door.

Liked: Absolutely fabulous. We were met by Alex upon arrival who went through all the house rules and regulations. He offered us advice on where to go, what to see, the best places to eat and get drinks. He was incredibly helpful and kind to us. The bedroom was amazing with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. There are only 3 rooms so it was private and quiet. Just like renting an apartment for your holiday. We fell in love with verona and B and B Alle Erbe and will definitely be going back to stay again.

Disliked: Nothing!!

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent, the building was nice, big rooms and modern bathrooms.

Disliked: It was very difficult to get into the building, you have to call them first, despite having advised an ETA shortly beforehand, there was no one to answer the door.

Liked: The location was great. The idea of a lunchbox for the day was a nice thought, however it was hardly a suitable lunch - just two slices of bread, jam and milk. The breakfast and tea and coffee were always available if you were hungry but the choice of breakfast was poor - just biscuits and cornflakes.

Disliked: The directions on the website were incorrect making us take an unnecessary journey around in one loop to the station. Then once we arrived, the place was easy to find, however there was no one to greet us once we arrived. You are forced to make an international call so someone can come and meet you (took 20 minutes to get to us) to give you the keys and show you your room. By this time it was four o'clock and most of our single day in Verona was wasted. We won't be staying here again.

Liked: B&B has a perfect location, in the heart of Verona, very close to the Casa di Guillietta and a market with fresh fruit, souvenirs etc. The rooms were clean, there weren't many people in hostel so it was quiet except for the group of people in the restaurant next to B&B.

Disliked: I didn't like the breakfast, it was very poor, just a sendwich and jam.

Liked: In the city center. Close to everything. Very clean and organized

Disliked: We arrived in advance. Nobody was there. We waited for half an hour at the door. We had to go back to the train station to leave our luggage and go back later for it. I travelled with a friend and we had to share the bed as the B&B hadn't any twin beds room

Liked: Very convenient position for centre Verona Ceiling fan in room very welcome on a very hot day. Free to come and go. Key to outside door, flat key and room key.

Disliked: No-one there when I arrived. Should have stated that you need to phone them to gain access. Difficult to open flat door with key. Several attempts. Sliding door to bathroom tended to stick and needed brute force to open it. I was afraid of not being able to get out. Should have stated that they only take cash in payment.

Liked: Superb location, has all the necessary facilities for a very pleasant stay in splendid Verona; very friendly staff - due to a train strike we were about one hour late and they called to check on us, it was touching

Disliked: We stayed for 3 days and unexpectedly, 2 days we were left without any coffee:)

Liked: If you are looking for a budget place to stay in Verona that is centrally located then this is the place. You would be hard pressed to find anything better in this price range, and the fact that it had a communal kitchen meant that it felt more like a home than a hotel or a bed and breakfast. The two guys we met were lovely and helpful, even if they didn't know how to clean, or to fix a toilet seat, or to unblock a drain. When my sister and I asked for clean sheets (the ones we slept in on our first night were decidedly used), we were given them with many apologies and a smile. When they forgot to put fresh coffee in the coffee machine for the following morning's breakfast my sister worked out that there was enough space for her to slide her hand under the doors of the padlocked cupboard and hey presto! Coffee for everyone! As much as we wanted! Instant popularity! How could you not love B & B Alle Erbe for that? I feel very affectionately towards the place and would of course stay there again if I ever have the chance to return to Verona. I like its slap-dashness and its frayed-around-the-edges personality - sitting next to a ubiquitous 5 star hotel - if they were family then B & B Alle Erbe would be the great aunt with her tights slightly sagging around her ankles who always gave you sweets covered in fluff, whilst the hotel next door obviously takes the role of the seemingly perfect, plucked, beautiful, all-rounding Oxbridge graduate niece with an eating disorder. Go and stay at B & B Alle Erbe if you have a sense of humour and enjoy variety and surprise in life. You will also see the largest quantity of broken white goods in any one functioning B & B.

Disliked: Nothing, except I didn't manage to find the kettle, broken or otherwise. Tea in a microwave is just wrong - the waves create a foam on the surface of the liquid.

Liked: Location was perfect !

Disliked: We only received clean towels ones and had no toilet paper for a whole day ... And room has been cleaned ones in 5 nights. They sometimes "forget" to arrange new breakfast...
